This is a multi-hand, multi-function analog solar-powered watch with alarm and chronograph functions. Its solar power function converts solar energy into electrical power using a solar cell on its face to power the watch hands and alarm sound.

3. Before Using
If the watch does not operate correctly, it may be insufficiently charged. Charge the secondary battery for more than 6 hours using a fluorescent or incandescent lamp at a distance of approximately 20 cm. Avoid placing the watch too close to the light source. Charging under direct sunlight for over an hour is also recommended.
The watch uses an Eco Drive Rechargeable battery, a clean energy battery free from toxic substances like mercury. Once fully charged, it can run for about 80 days (with daily alarm use and monthly chronograph use) without further charging.
For optimal use of the alarm and chronograph functions, ensure the watch is sufficiently recharged. There is no concern for over-charging due to built-in prevention functions. Daily recharging is recommended.
4. Special Functions of the Solar Powered Watch
If the watch becomes insufficiently charged, a warning function activates, changing the display:
Insufficient Charge Warning Display:
When insufficiently charged, the second hand moves to the "CHARGE" position, indicating low electricity. Timekeeping (hour, minute, 24-hour hands) remains accurate. The alarm will not sound, and the chronograph will stop and reset. Buttons may not function.

Stop Warning Display:
If the undercharged state continues for about 5 days, the second hand moves to the "STOP" position. All functions stop. Expose the watch to sufficient light to cancel this state. After charging, reset the alarm time.

Hands Setting Warning Display:
After being stopped and then recharged, the second hand moves to the "SET" position, indicating incorrect time. The hour, minute, and 24-hour hands will run at the incorrect time. These hands must be readjusted to keep correct time for proper function of alarm and chronograph. If the watch is not sufficiently charged during this state and light is blocked, the second hand may move to "STOP", and the watch will stop running.

5. Notes on Use
Warning: Never use a battery other than the specified Eco Drive Rechargeable battery. Using a different type of battery, such as a silver oxide battery, could lead to overcharging, bursting, and potential damage to the watch or injury to the user.
6. Notes on Recharge
Caution: Avoid recharging the watch if it gets too hot (over 60°C / 140°F). Do not recharge at high temperatures. Examples include placing the watch near heat-generating light sources like incandescent or halogen lamps, or in hot environments like a car dashboard.
7. Time Required for Recharge

8. How to Use This Watch
1) Changing the Mode
The watch has Time, Alarm, Chronograph, and "0" position confirmation modes. Pressing the button cycles through them: Time <TME> ➔ Alarm <ALM> ➔ Chronograph <CHR> ➔ "0" position confirmation <(0)>. The mode hand indicates the current mode. The display returns to Time mode <TME> after confirmation.
- Time Mode: Displays current time (hour, minute, second, 24-hour). Use the 24-hour hand to confirm AM/PM.
- Alarm Mode: Displays alarm set time. Alarm setting is in 1-minute increments. Use the 24-hour hand for AM/PM. If the alarm is ON, it rings for 15 seconds daily at the set time.
- "0" Position Confirmation Mode: Typically not used. This mode is for adjusting the display if it becomes incorrect due to static electricity or shock.
- Chronograph Mode: Measures time up to 60 minutes in 1/20 second increments and displays split times. A beep confirms start/stop/split actions.
2) Time Setting
Ensure the watch is in Time mode (<TME>).
- Pull out the button to the first click. The second hand stops at the "0" position. Time setting synchronizes the minute hand, hour hand, and 24-hour hand. Time setting is completed via electro-magnetic correction.
- Set the time by pressing button or button . Pressing advances the watch by 1 minute clockwise. Pressing moves it back 1 minute counter-clockwise. Holding or moves the hands rapidly. Adjust to the closest direction.
- Push the button back to its normal position to start the watch at the correct time.
If the minute hand shows incorrect position:
- Pull button out to the first click.
- While holding button depressed, press or . The minute hand moves every 20 seconds.
Caution: Do not press buttons , , and simultaneously, as this may require resetting the "0" Position Adjustment and all other functions.
3) Using the Alarm
The alarm sounds once daily for 15 seconds at the set alarm time. Pressing any button , , or stops the ringing.
Setting the Alarm: Alarm setting is on a 24-hour system in 1-minute increments. The hands move in sequence: minute hand ➔ hour hand ➔ 24-hour hand.
- Press button to set the mode hand to <ALM> and switch to Alarm mode.
- Pull out button to the alarm set time adjusting state.
- Press buttons or to set the minute, hour, and 24-hour hands to the desired time. Pressing advances by 1 minute clockwise; pressing moves back by 1 minute counter-clockwise. Holding them moves hands rapidly.
After setting, push to normal. The hour, minute, and 24-hour hands will automatically move to the present time. If they don't stop, press again.
Switching the Alarm ON and OFF: Press button in Alarm mode to toggle the alarm ON/OFF.
Alarm Sound Monitor: In Alarm mode (with in normal position), press button to hear the alarm for 5 seconds.
Note: Alarm volume may vary based on battery charge. It can be lower in modes other than Time display.
4) Using the Chronograph
The chronograph measures in 1/20 (0.05) second increments for up to 60 minutes. Exceeding 60 minutes resets the chronograph.
Chronograph Measurement:
- Press button to set the mode hand to <CHR> for Chronograph display. The second hand and function hand reset to "0". Hour, minute, and 24-hour hands show the current time.
- Pressing button starts or stops the chronograph with a confirmation sound.
- Reading Chronograph Hands (for times over 1 minute):
- Minutes: Read with the function hand.
- Seconds: Read with the second hand.
- 1/20 Second: While holding button continuously, the function hand switches to 1/20 second measurement. Release to return to minute display.
- While the chronograph is stopped, pressing button resets the function hand and second hand to "0".
Chronograph Split Measurement:
- Pressing button during chronograph measurement displays the split time with a beep.
- Pressing again shows the next split time. Split time display cancels automatically after about 10 seconds, returning to measurement state.
- During split time display or measurement, pressing stops the chronograph.
- In the chronograph stop state, pressing resets the chronograph.
- During split time measurement or display, pressing shows the next split time.
5. Time Setting and Recharge Warnings
The watch displays warnings when the charge level is low:
Insufficient Charge Warning Display:
If the watch is undercharged in any mode, it switches to the time display and the second hand moves to the "CHARGE" position. Expose to sufficient light to cancel. This typically takes about 30 minutes, but charging time varies by light source. The time (hour, minute, 24-hour hands) remains accurate, but the alarm and chronograph functions are affected.

Stop Warning Display:
If the undercharged state continues for about 5 days, the second hand moves to the "STOP" position, indicating the watch has stopped due to insufficient recharge. All functions are stopped. Expose to sufficient light to cancel this state. After charging, the alarm time must be reset.

Hands Setting Warning Display:
After being stopped and recharged, the second hand moves to the "SET" position, indicating the time is incorrect. The hour, minute, and 24-hour hands will run at the incorrect time. These hands must be readjusted to keep correct time for proper function of alarm and chronograph. If the watch is not sufficiently charged during this state and light is blocked, the second hand may move to "STOP", and the watch will stop running.

6. Checking and Adjusting Each Hand's "0" Position
The watch display may become incorrect due to static electricity or strong shock. In such cases, check and adjust the "0" position of the hands.
"0" Position Checking:
Press button to set the mode hand to the "0" position. This enters the "0" position check mode. Verify that the second hand and the function hand return to the "0" position (12 o'clock position). If they are not in the "0" position, adjustment is necessary.
"0" Position Adjustment:
- In "0" position check mode, pull out button .
- Adjust each hand to the "0" position:
- Second hand adjustment: Press button .
- Function hand adjustment: Press button .
Pressing or continuously moves the hands rapidly.
- Push button back to its normal position to complete the adjustment.
After finishing "0" position adjustment, reset the time and the alarm set time.
Replacement of the Eco Drive Rechargeable battery: The rechargeable battery does not need periodic replacement and is not user-replaceable.
7. Precautions About Care and Handling of Watches
Temperature Care:
Avoid temperature extremes. High temperatures (e.g., car dashboard, hot tub) can cause malfunction, shorten battery life, or damage components. Extreme cold may cause irregular timekeeping until the watch returns to normal temperature.
Shock-Resistant:
The watch can be worn during activities like golf, but avoid severe shocks such as dropping it on a hard surface.
Magnetic-Resistant:
Using the watch around ordinary household appliances (TVs, stereos) is generally fine. Keep away from strong magnets.
Chemical/Gas Resistant:
Do not expose the watch to chemicals or gases for extended periods.
Watch Cleaning:
Remove stains, waterspots, and dirt with a soft cloth to prevent damage and wear.
Handling of Water-Resistant Watches:
- Do not operate the crown or push-buttons while the watch is wet or in water. Tighten screw-lock crowns completely.
- If immersed in water, dry immediately. Rinse thoroughly in warm fresh water if exposed to saltwater.
- If a watch gets wet from cleaning or accident, never store it in a closed container. Dry it immediately or take it to a watchmaker if moisture is inside the case to prevent rust.
- Gaskets, crowns, and other moisture-resistance components deteriorate over time and require replacement every year or two to maintain factory specifications.
Care for Metal Bracelets:
- Clean regularly to remove dust and perspiration, which can cause staining or skin irritation.
- Wipe heavy perspiration with a soft dry cloth.
- Clean the bracelet occasionally with an old toothbrush and warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry completely. This method should only be used for water-resistant watches.
Care for Straps:
Leather:
- Perspiration can dry out leather. Blot moisture with a soft dry cloth or paper towel and allow to dry naturally.
- Remove salt residue and soil with a dampened soft cloth and mild soap or saddle soap.
- Occasionally clean the inside surface with a soft cloth dampened with alcohol.
- Wear the strap slightly loosely (one finger space) to allow air circulation and moisture evaporation.
Rubber:
- Wash rubber straps frequently with mild soap and warm water using a soft brush.
- Clean thoroughly after use in saltwater.
- Solvents, oils, perspiration, and tanning lotion can cause rubber deterioration.
