Oven Functions and Operations
Natural Convection Oven (Conventional)
The oven can be warmed using bottom and top heaters, or the grill, controlled by the temperature regulator knob.
- Top and bottom heaters on, door closed: Set temperature between 100°C and 250°C. Ideal for baking cakes, meat, fish, bread, pizza. Preheat oven and use a baking tray.
- Grill on, door open: Set temperature between 100°C and 250°C. Used for cooking small portions of meat, schnitzel, fish, sausages (max 2-3 cm thick). Turn food over during roasting. Set temperature to 250°C for grilling.
- Oven On/Off: Set the knob to the required position. Turning right switches it on. Yellow light indicates operation; red light indicates temperature reached. Red light may cycle to maintain temperature. Turn knob to "0" to switch off.
- Oven Lighting: The oven lamp switches on after the temperature regulator knob is set.
Convection with Ring Heating Element
The oven uses a ring heating element and fan for air circulation, controlled by the temperature regulator knob. Set temperature between 100°C and 250°C. This method ensures uniform heat circulation. Lower baking temperatures may be used compared to conventional ovens.
Diagrams for oven lighting indicators (yellow operation light, red thermostat light) are described as: Visual indicators for oven operation status.
Baking in the Oven – Practical Hints
Baking
- Use provided accessories or suitable cake tins/trays placed on the drying rack. Black trays conduct heat better.
