Verisure Alarms User Guide

Welcome to Verisure

Congratulations on installing the Verisure Smart Alarm, an advanced security system designed for maximum protection, ease of use, and comfort. This manual will help you get acquainted with the system and serve as a reference for any questions. We encourage you to install the My Verisure app on your mobile or tablet to monitor your home or business remotely and control your alarm system.

Description of the Alarm System

Shock Sensor Opening Detector (GWL-MC2-SHOCK): Protects doors and windows with a triple detection system sensitive to openings, shocks, and vibrations, detecting intruders before entry.

Motion Photo/Video Detectors with Colour Camera and Night Vision (GWL-MD-C1): Protect the interior of your home or business. When unauthorized movement is detected, they capture images sent to the Verisure Alarm Receiving Centre for verification.

Voicepad GWL-SVK and Smart Keys: Allows easy connection and disconnection of the alarm via smart key presentation, numeric code entry, or remote control. Features a speech/listening system, siren, and an SOS button.

My Verisure App: Control your alarm system, monitor your home or business, and contact Verisure via chat from your mobile or tablet.

Central Unit (GW-CU2L): Manages signals from all alarm devices and transmits them to the Verisure Alarm Receiving Centre. Features Ethernet, WLAN, 4G, 3G, and GSM network connections for reliable signal transmission, immune to frequency inhibitors.

SOS Button (GWL-SPB): A discreet way to notify Verisure of an emergency and request immediate help. Verisure will review the situation and respond accordingly.

Remote Control (GWL-KF-WR): Easily control your alarm system.

Arming Modes

When You Leave Your Home or Business (Away Mode): All detectors are active for full protection.

When You Enter Your Home or Business (Disarming): Disarm the alarm for free movement within the installation.

When You're At Home or Business (Home-Mode): Activates only configured detectors, allowing movement in other areas. Partial mode is recommended when inside.

When You're At Home or Business (Perimeter Mode): Activates only perimeter detectors for outer area protection. (Feature available on future upgraded detectors).

Control Devices: Description and Use

Voicepad

The Voicepad uses LED notifications to communicate system status. Two Amber lights indicate technical information, requiring microphone activation and user identification via smart key or PIN. Four Amber LEDs indicate intrusion notifications, displaying affected device numbers on the keyboard. Pressing the 'cancel/delete' button (<) stops notifications.

Input Reader

Notifications to be reviewed: forced assembly. If four LEDs light up red and yellow, listen to notifications before connecting the system. Press the connect button again to connect. If the alarm cannot connect, the device will indicate the reason.

Remote Control

Buttons include Disconnect, Connection (partial and full mode), SOS, Lock, and Unlock. Attempting to arm with an open window/door will prevent arming and be signaled by a light.

SOS Signal from Remote Control: Press buttons 1 and 3 simultaneously and hold for 2 seconds to send an SOS signal.

My Verisure App

Codewords are essential for Verisure interactions, ensuring security. Verisure uses a Verisure Codeword for identification when contacting you, and you use a Customer Codeword to verify your identity as an authorized user. It is strongly advised to change these provisional codewords to something secure and memorable, and to update them periodically. Modify codewords within the 'My System' section of the app.
