Warnings: Keep Away From Water
DANGER: As with most electrical appliances, electrical parts are electrically live even when the switch is off.
To reduce the risk of death by electric shock:
- Always unplug the unit immediately after using.
- Do not use while bathing.
- Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
- Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.
- If an appliance falls into water, unplug the unit immediately. Do not reach into the water.
Warnings: To reduce the risk of burns, electrocution, fire, or injury to persons:
- An appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in.
- Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by, on, or near children or individuals with certain disabilities.
- Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.
- Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, or if it has been dropped, damaged, or dropped into water.
- Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
- Do not wrap the cord around the appliance.
- Never block the air openings of the appliance or place it on a soft surface, such as a bed or couch, where the air openings may be blocked. Keep the air openings free of lint, hair, and the like.
- Never use while sleeping.
- Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
- Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.
- Do not use an extension cord with this appliance.
- Do not direct hot air toward eyes or other heat-sensitive areas.
- Attachments may be hot during use. Allow them to cool before handling.
- Do not place appliance on any surface while it is operating.
- While using the appliance, keep your hair away from the air inlets.
- Do not operate with a voltage converter.
- Only use the appliance with the voltage, frequency and power shown on the rating label on the product.
- Do not use this appliance on hair extensions or wigs unless recommended by the hair extension or wig manufacturer.

Operating Instructions
Product Diagram: The hair dryer features:
- 1. Power Button
- 2. Airflow Button (Low, Medium, High)
- 3. Temperature Button (No Heat, Low, Medium, High)
- 4. Cool Shot Button (for a cool burst of air)
- 5. Nozzle Outlet
- 6. Accessory Attachment Point (click to attach)
- 7. Filter Cover (at the back of the unit)
- 8. ALCI Button (to reset the dryer)
- 9. Rating Label Location
- Slide the power button to turn the dryer on and off.
- Press the airflow button to choose a low, medium, or high airflow.
- Press the temperature button to choose no heat, or low, medium, or high temperature. Press and hold the temperature button for 2 seconds to enter Scalp Shield Mode.
- Press and hold the Cool Shot button for a cool burst of air to set your style.
- To attach accessories, press them into the nozzle outlet until they click in place.
- To remove an accessory, slide the lock down and lift the accessory off the nozzle by holding onto the touchpoints identified in your Styling Guide.
- To remove the filter cover on the back of the unit, rotate it counterclockwise, then pull it off. To reattach, align the open circle icon with the arrow icon on the unit and rotate clockwise until the filled-in circle icon aligns with the arrow.
- Press the ALCI button to reset the dryer. See Troubleshooting & Error Codes for more information.
- Locate the rating label for product specifications.

Storage, Cord Safety, and Maintenance/Cleaning
- Ensure the cord is not knotted, twisted, or wrapped around any nearby objects when in use.
- Store the unit in a dry location away from water and other heat sources.
- To help prevent bristle damage, store brush accessories so the bristles aren't touching anything.
- Clean the filter on the back of the unit monthly. To clean, twist off the filter cover, use a new toothbrush to brush off dust or debris from the filter mesh, then reattach the cover.
- Remove any hair from brush accessories after every use to help maintain performance.
How to Open and Close Dryer Nozzle
- To open, hold the handle with one hand and twist the nozzle in the direction of the OPEN arrow with the other hand.
- To close, hold the handle with one hand and twist the nozzle in the direction of the CLOSE arrow with the other hand.
Troubleshooting & Error Codes
Maintenance/Cleaning - Reduction in Airflow
A change in airflow, blockages, or visible buildup on the inlet may indicate the unit needs cleaning. To maintain performance, clean the filter monthly.
Removing the Filter:
- Turn off and unplug the unit.
- Rotate the filter cover counterclockwise and pull it off.
- Rotate the filter counterclockwise and pull it off.
Cleaning the Filter:
- Using a clean toothbrush, gently brush dust off the mesh filter.
- Soak the mesh filter in warm, soapy water for at least 30 minutes.
- Wipe down the back of the unit with a microfiber cloth to remove debris.
- After 30 minutes, remove the filter from water and rinse under a faucet.
- Pat the filter dry with a microfiber cloth. Let the filter air-dry for up to 24 hours before reinstalling.
- To reinstall, reinsert the filter and rotate it clockwise. Align the filter cover and rotate it clockwise until it fits securely.
ALCI Operation
Issue: Electricity flickers or trips circuit breaker during use.
Explanation: This dryer is equipped with an Appliance Leakage Circuit Interrupter (ALCI) safety feature. If the dryer turns off, press the red Reset button on the plug. If it doesn't reset, check your circuit breaker. Ensure no other appliances are plugged into the same room. Do not use with a power strip.
Overheating
Issue: Hair dryer is overheating or shuts off.
Explanation: The unit has a temperature-protective thermostat that automatically turns off the unit if it overheats. To prevent recurrence, unplug the dryer and let it cool, or use the Cool Shot button. Overheating can be caused by prolonged use, blockages, or dust buildup. Clean the filter monthly. Do not cover the filter while operating. If overheating persists, contact Customer Service at 855-522-0912.

Two (2) Year Limited Warranty
This warranty applies to purchases made from authorized retailers of SharkNinja Operating LLC. It covers the original owner and product only and is not transferable.
SharkNinja warrants the unit to be free from defects in material and workmanship for two (2) years from the date of purchase, when used under normal household conditions and maintained according to the Owner's Guide, subject to the following conditions and exclusions:
What is Covered by this Warranty?
- The original unit and/or non-wearable parts deemed defective will be repaired or replaced up to two (2) years from the original purchase date, at SharkNinja's discretion.
- If a replacement unit is issued, the warranty ends six (6) months after receipt of the replacement unit or the remainder of the existing warranty, whichever is later. SharkNinja may replace the unit with one of equal or greater value.
What is Not Covered by this Warranty?
- Normal wear and tear of wearable parts (e.g., accessories) requiring regular maintenance or replacement. Replacement parts are available at sharkbeauty.com.
- Any unit tampered with or used for commercial purposes.
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligent handling, failure to perform required maintenance (e.g., keeping the motor base clear of spills), or mishandling in transit.
- Consequential and incidental damages.
- Defects caused by unauthorized repair persons.
- Products purchased, used, or operated outside North America.

SharkNinja will cover the cost for the customer to send the unit for repair or replacement. A fee of $20.95 (subject to change) will be charged when SharkNinja ships the repaired or replacement unit.
How to Initiate a Warranty Claim
Call 855-522-0912 to initiate a warranty claim. You will need your receipt as proof of purchase. Register your product online at registeryourshark.com. A Customer Service Specialist will provide return and packing instructions.
How State Law Applies
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary from state to state. Some states do not permit the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages.
