Important Safety Instructions

Please read these instructions carefully before use.

General Safety Precautions

• For your safety, this appliance complies with applicable standards and regulations (Low Voltage Directive, Electromagnetic Compatibility, Environmental...).
• Appliance accessories become very hot during use. Avoid contact with skin. Ensure the supply cord does not contact hot parts.
• Verify your electricity supply voltage matches the appliance's voltage. Incorrect connection can cause irreparable damage not covered by warranty.
• For additional protection, installation of a Residual Current Device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Consult an installer.
• Appliance installation and use must comply with your country's standards.

Water Hazard Warning

• WARNING: Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins, or other vessels containing water.
• When used in a bathroom, unplug after use, as proximity to water presents a hazard even when the appliance is switched off.

Child Safety

• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless supervised or instructed by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
• Children aged 8 and above, and persons with reduced capabilities or lack of experience, may use the appliance if supervised or instructed on safe use and understand the hazards.
• Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children without supervision.

Electrical Safety and Cord Care

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard.
• Do not use if the cord is damaged.
• Do not immerse or put under running water, even for cleaning.
• Do not hold with damp hands.
• Do not unplug by pulling on the cord; pull by the plug.
• Do not use an electrical extension lead.

Appliance Malfunction and Overheating Protection

• Stop using and contact an Authorized Service Centre if the appliance has fallen or does not work correctly.
• The appliance is equipped with a heat-sensitive safety device. In case of overheating (e.g., blocked rear grill), the dryer will stop automatically. Contact After-Sales Service.
• The appliance must be unplugged before cleaning and maintenance, if it malfunctions, or as soon as you have finished using it.

Usage and Maintenance

• Do not hold the appliance by the casing, which can be hot, but by the handle.
• Do not clean with abrasive or corrosive products.
• Do not use at temperatures below 0°C and above 35°C.

Guarantee

Your appliance is designed for domestic use only. It should not be used for professional purposes. The guarantee becomes null and void in case of improper usage.

Environmental Protection

Your appliance contains valuable materials which can be recovered or recycled. Leave it at a local civic waste collection point or an authorized service centre for proper disposal.
