Eufy S380 HomeBase Quick Start Guide

At a Glance

The S380 HomeBase is a central hub for your Eufy Security system, offering 16 GB of storage for video recordings and the ability to expand storage with an additional hard drive.

Key Components:

• 1. Status LED: Indicates the operational status of the HomeBase.
• 2. Reset Hole: Used for resetting the device to factory settings.
• 3. Speaker: For audio alerts and notifications.
• 4. Hard Drive Bracket: Holds the internal hard drive.
• 5. SYNC / ALARM OFF Button: Used for pairing devices and managing alarms.
• 6. USB Port 1 (Output: 5Vdc/2.4A): For connecting devices or charging.
• 7. USB Port 2 (Output: 5Vdc/0.7A): For connecting devices or charging.
• 8. Ethernet Port: For wired internet connection.
• 9. Power Port: Connects the device to a power source.

Expanding Storage (Optional)

The S380 HomeBase comes with 16 GB of storage. You can add a hard drive to expand this capacity.

Prepare Your Hard Drive

Your hard drive must meet the following requirements:

Important: Transfer all data from your hard drive to a secure location before adding it to the S380 HomeBase.

Install Your Hard Drive

Note: The S380 HomeBase must be powered off when installing or removing a hard drive.

1. Push down the top lid to remove it.
2. Loosen the screw, then pull out the hard drive bracket.
3. Fix your hard drive to the bracket with the provided screws.
4. Insert and screw the bracket back to the S380 HomeBase, then put the top lid back into place.

You can follow these steps to expand storage as needed. A new hard drive must be initialized through the eufy Security app to work with the S380 HomeBase.

Connecting the S380 HomeBase

1. Power on and connect the S380 HomeBase to your router.
2. Wait for a moment (up to 1 minute) until the status LED turns blue.

Adding to the eufy Security App

1. Download and install the eufy Security app, and sign up for an account.
2. Add the S380 HomeBase to your device list and follow the in-app instructions to complete the setup.

One S380 HomeBase can pair up to 16 cameras.

Safety Information

• Do not use the device in environments with extreme temperatures (too high or too low). Never expose the device to strong sunshine or excessively humid environments.
• The suitable temperature range for the T8030 and its accessories is -10°C to 45°C.
• It is recommended to power the device in an environment with a temperature between 5°C and 25°C.
• When powering the device, place it in an environment with normal room temperature and good ventilation.
• The adapter should be installed near the equipment and be easily accessible.
• Ensure you use only the adapter provided by the manufacturer. Using an unauthorized adapter may cause danger and void the device's authorization and warranty.
• This adapter is for indoor use only. The adapter type (for S380 HomeBase) is KA2401A-1202000DE, with a rated output voltage/current of 12 Vdc/2A. The plug is considered the disconnect device of the adapter.
