The Jade Heat System provides an easy way to bring subtle yet effective heat to your PC-420, PC-600, and PC-610 chair. Jade stones slowly radiate far-infrared heat up to three inches into muscle tissue to create healing warmth that can be felt long after you leave the chair.
Follow the steps in this guide to install your Jade Heat System, then sit back, relax, and enjoy.
Important Safety Instructions
When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:

- IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO OPEN THE COVER TO EXAMINE THE PAD BEFORE EACH USE.
- LOOP CORD LOOSELY WHEN STORING, TIGHT WRAPPING MAY DAMAGE CORD AND INTERNAL PARTS.
- READ AND FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS ON BOX OR PACKED WITH PAD BEFORE USING.
- THE HEATING PAD MUST NOT BE LAUNDERED.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
- COMFORTABLE CLOTHING IS RECOMMENDED WHILE USING THIS PRODUCT.
- IF YOU FEEL ANY ABNORMAL DISCOMFORT DURING THE OPERATION OF THIS PRODUCT, TURN OFF THE POWER IMMEDIATELY AND DO NOT USE THE PRODUCT. CONSULT YOUR PHYSICIAN.
- DO NOT PULL ON THE AC CORD.
- WHEN USING THIS PRODUCT AFTER IT HAS BEEN IN STORAGE, CHECK TO SEE THAT THE PRODUCT IS OPERATING PROPERLY PRIOR TO USE.
- ALWAYS CONFIRM THAT THERE ARE NO OBSTACLES BEHIND THE PRODUCT AND THAT THERE IS SUFFICIENT SPACE TO RECLINE.

THIS HEATING PAD HAS A POLARIZED PLUG (ONE BLADE IS WIDER THAN THE OTHER) AS A SAFETY FEATURE. THIS PLUG WILL FIT INTO A POLARIZED OUTLET ONLY ONE WAY. IF THE PLUG DOES NOT FIT FULLY INTO THE OUTLET, REVERSE THE PLUG. IF IT STILL DOES NOT FIT, CONTACT A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DEFEAT THIS SAFETY FEATURE.

Installation and Setup

Unpack the box

Tools needed: Phillips-head screwdriver
- Remove the body pad from the chair, then place it face down on a flat surface (Fig.1). Illustration of the chair's body pad placed face down on a flat surface.
- Power off the chair, then unplug it.
Install the Jade Heat Pad
- Open the backrest pad zipper, then lift the right-hand side of the foam out of the backrest pad cavity and flip it to the left. CAUTION: Do not completely remove the foam or you will disconnect or damage the lumbar air valve on the left-hand side (Fig.2).
- Remove the protective strips covering the hook-and-loop fastener strips at the top and bottom of the backrest pad cavity.
- Insert the jade heat pad into the backrest pad cavity, attaching the hook-and-look fasteners on the underside of the pad with the corresponding fasteners on the inside of the backrest pad (Fig.3). - Thread the jade heat pad cable through the hole in the backrest upholstery.
- Reinstall the backrest pad foam into the backrest pad cavity, on top of the jade heat pad.
- Smooth the foam inside the pad, pulling it firmly toward the pad edges. HINT: Begin with the top corners then work your way down the sides (Fig.4).
- Close the backrest pad zipper (Fig.5).
Install the Power Hub
- Gently turn the chair onto its left-hand side (Fig.6).
- Locate the four screw holes on the bottom of the front cross bar (Fig.7).
- Using a Phillips-head screwdriver, secure the power hub to the chair with the cord facing upward, using the four provided screws (Fig.8). - Leaving approximately two feet of the chair power cord, coil the excess cord neatly (Fig.9).
- Open the pocket on the bottom of the chair canvas, then tuck the coiled cord into the lower pocket (Fig.9).
- Plug the chair power cord into the power hub (Fig.10).
- Plug the transformer into the power hub outlet (Fig.10).
- Feed the transformer plug up through the hole in the chair canvas (Fig.11).
- Gently return the chair to the upright position.
Install the Control Panel and Connect the Jade Heat Pad
- Install the body pad onto the chair seat and footrest, with the backrest pad folded forward onto the seat (Fig.12).
- Connect the transformer cable to both the control panel cable and the jade heat pad cable (the connections are color-coded), slide the connector cover over the connections, then tuck the cables into the seat canvas (Fig.12). - Using a Phillips-head screwdriver, remove the three screws that secure the left-hand armrest cap to the chair, then remove the armrest cap (Fig.13).
- Place the control panel bracket on top of the armrest core (Fig.14).
- Replace the armrest cap, then secure it using the three screws (Fig.15).
- Using a Phillips-head screwdriver, remove the screw that secures the glide rail safety tip. Discard this screw (Fig.16).
- Place the cable loop into position over the screw hole, place the provided washer over the cable loop, then secure the assembly using the provided screw (Fig.16).
- Reinstall the body pad onto the chair.
- Plug the Jade Heat cord into a wall outlet.
Using Your Jade Heat System
Press the heat button to toggle through low, medium, high, and off.
Be sure to turn off your jade heat system when not in use.
