Tata Power Renewables Commissions Record 752 MW of Solar Projects in Q1 FY26

Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited, a subsidiary of The Tata Power Company Limited, has announced the commissioning of 752 MW of solar projects in the first quarter of fiscal year 2026 (Q1 FY26). This represents a significant quarterly addition, marking a 112% increase compared to the 354 MW commissioned in Q1 FY25.

The company attributes this achievement to its seamless EPC project execution, disciplined project management, and a strong commitment to quality and safety. With this Q1 FY26 commissioning, the company's total utility-scale operational capacity has reached 5.6 GW, comprising 4.6 GW of solar capacity and 1 GW of wind capacity. Looking ahead, Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited plans to commission an additional 1.7 GW of its utility-owned capacity during FY26, in addition to 1 GW of third-party projects.

The company targets a total operational capacity of 7.3 GW by the end of FY26, with solar capacity expected to reach 5.6 GW and wind capacity at 1.7 GW.
