Hardware Setup
Follow these steps to set up the hardware:
- Unpacking and Component Installation: Carefully unpack the printer and its components. The diagrams show the order of installation for various parts, including the toner cartridge and paper trays. Ensure all protective materials are removed.
- Connecting Cables: Connect the power cord to the printer and a power outlet. If applicable, connect the USB cable to the printer and your computer.
- Initial Power On: Turn on the printer using the power button. The printer will go through an initialization process.
- Loading Paper: Open the paper input tray and load paper according to the instructions shown in the diagrams. Adjust the paper guides to fit the paper size.
- Aligning Cartridges (if applicable): Follow on-screen prompts or the printer display to align the print cartridges if required.
