HP Laser MFP 130 Series Setup

This guide provides instructions for setting up your HP Laser MFP 130 series printer.

Software Setup

To complete the printer setup, download the HP software. Visit 123.hp.com to download the HP Smart application.

The following languages are supported for software download:

Hardware Setup

Follow these steps to set up the hardware:

  1. Unpacking and Component Installation: Carefully unpack the printer and its components. The diagrams show the order of installation for various parts, including the toner cartridge and paper trays. Ensure all protective materials are removed.
  2. Connecting Cables: Connect the power cord to the printer and a power outlet. If applicable, connect the USB cable to the printer and your computer.
  3. Initial Power On: Turn on the printer using the power button. The printer will go through an initialization process.
  4. Loading Paper: Open the paper input tray and load paper according to the instructions shown in the diagrams. Adjust the paper guides to fit the paper size.
  5. Aligning Cartridges (if applicable): Follow on-screen prompts or the printer display to align the print cartridges if required.
