Notes:
- Do not drop the Throwpod from a height greater than 10 cm to avoid damage.
- Place it on a level surface for stability. Avoid placing it on uneven ground.
- Do not forcibly bend the tripod to adjust its position or angle.
- Be cautious in strong winds, as the Throwpod could tip over.
- If using the Throwpod with the tripod retracted, avoid pressing the bottom, as this will open the tripod.
2. Attaching a Camera or Gimbal
Align the 1/4" standard thread on the bottom of the camera or gimbal with the 1/4" screw on the Throwpod. Then, turn the device clockwise to secure it.

Notes:
- The following images show the Insta360 Flow 2 Pro with the Throwpod. The Throwpod is also compatible with other Insta360 products. For more detailed information, visit the official Insta360 website.
- Always keep 360° cameras parallel to the Throwpod to ensure it remains invisible in 360° shots.
- For Insta360 Ace camera models, you can use the quick-release mount or the 3-prong to 1/4" adapter.
- Do not exceed the maximum load capacity (850 g) and ensure the device is securely attached to prevent it from falling.
- Avoid accidental drops and falls, as this could scratch the surface or prevent the built-in tripod from functioning correctly.
3. Extending the Selfie Stick
Pull the integrated selfie stick out from the top and extend it to the desired length. If using the Throwpod with an Insta360 gimbal, you can also extend the gimbal's integrated selfie stick.
Notes:
- Extend the Throwpod to an appropriate height to reduce the risk of tipping.
- Retract the selfie stick before moving the Throwpod, as strong vibrations or jerky movements could damage it.
- Wipe away sweat or liquids with a soft cloth to prevent discoloration or peeling.
- Do not use corrosive liquids to clean the Throwpod.
4. Storing the Throwpod
Step 1: Turn the camera or gimbal counter-clockwise to detach it from the Throwpod.
Step 2: Press down on the top of the Throwpod with one hand and push it upwards with the other hand as shown below.

Step 3: After retracting the built-in tripod, hold the top of the Throwpod with one hand and fold it in completely with the other hand.

Notes:
- Be careful not to pinch your fingers when folding the Throwpod.
- After using the Throwpod in seawater or on the beach, rinse it thoroughly with fresh water to prevent rust or other damage. Shake off excess water and sand, and ensure it is completely dry before storing.
- Avoid storing the Throwpod with sharp objects like keys to prevent scratches.
- Do not store the Throwpod in sandy or dusty locations.
