Luxorparts LED Strip 90 LED RGB 3m
Item: 64072
Product Overview
This document provides instructions for the Luxorparts LED strip, model 90 LED RGB with a length of 3 meters. It includes a power adapter, RGB controller, and a remote control for operation.
Before Use
Clean the surface where the LED strip will be attached to ensure the 3M tape adheres effectively.
Application and Installation
The LED strip can be cut every 10 cm at the indicated points (marked with a scissors symbol ✂️). Note that cutting may affect the product's IP rating.
To prepare for connection, peel back approximately 5 mm of the plastic casing to expose the connector points. Ensure the metal teeth on any extension cables make proper contact with the strip's connector points. Align the markings on all connecting ends to ensure correct polarity.
Close the connector clamp by pressing the two plastic pieces together.
A diagram illustrates the connection points on the LED strip, typically labeled +DC12V, G, R, and B, and how extension cables with corresponding connectors are attached. After connecting, peel off the 3M tape backing and carefully attach the strip to the desired surface.
Connect the extension cables to the LED strip, then connect the RGB control box, and finally the wall power adapter. It is important that the small IR diode, located on a separate cable extending from the RGB control box, is visible and unobstructed for the remote control to function correctly.
Remote Control Overview
The remote control allows for various functions:
- 1 [On]: Turns the LED strip on.
- 2 [Off]: Turns the LED strip off.
- 3 [Decrease Brightness]: Reduces the light intensity.
- 4 [Increase Brightness]: Increases the light intensity.
- 5 [Colour Select]: Cycles through 16 different colour options.
- 6 [Colour Hue]: Adjusts the shade or hue of the selected colour.
- 7 [Flash Scene]: Activates a scene where the strip rapidly cycles through all colours.
- 8 [Strobe Scene]: Activates a scene where the strip fades on and off with a white light.
- 9 [Fade Scene]: Activates a scene with a smooth transition between all colours.
- 10 [Smooth Scene]: Activates a scene that transitions smoothly between red, green, and blue.
- 11 [Battery Tray]: Located at the bottom of the remote control for battery access.
The remote also features direct colour selection buttons (R, G, B, W).
Power on/off
Connect the power adapter to a wall outlet. Use the [On] button (1) on the remote control to turn the light strip on and the [Off] button (2) to turn it off.
Set Brightness
Adjust the brightness by pressing the [Increase Brightness] button (4) or the [Decrease Brightness] button (3).
Note: Brightness cannot be adjusted when a 'light scene' (Flash, Strobe, Fade, Smooth) is active. To adjust the brightness of a light scene, first select a fixed colour using the [Colour Select] (5) or [Colour Hue] (6) buttons, adjust the brightness, and then re-select the desired light scene. The brightness will then be applied to that scene.
Choose Colour
The LED strip can display 16 different colours. Switch between these colours by pressing the [Colour Select] buttons (5) and [Colour Hue] buttons (6) on the remote control.
Light Scenes
- [Flash] (7): The strip jumps between all colours.
- [Strobe] (8): The strip fades on and off with a white light.
- [Fade] (9): The strip fades between all colours.
- [Smooth] (10): The strip fades between red, green, and blue.
Replace Battery
The battery tray (11) is located at the bottom of the remote control. To replace the battery, push the lock on the side of the tray and pull it out. Insert the new battery with the positive (+) side facing upwards.

Safety Information
The LED strip is suitable for outdoor use. However, the power adapter must only be used indoors.
Always use the provided power adapter. Do not connect power to the LED strip while it is still in its packaging or wound onto a reel.
Avoid covering the LED strip or placing it in a recess, as this can lead to overheating.
Do not open the LED strip. Doing so will void the IP rating guarantee.
The LEDs themselves are not replaceable.
When replacing depleted batteries, use only batteries of the same type. Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations.
