The Basics
The IPEVO V4K Ultra High Definition USB Camera captures a variety of subjects, including standard letter-sized documents, three-dimensional objects, devices like smartphones and Apple's iPads, and even A3-sized documents and larger. It streams high-definition live video to your computer.
Software Compatibility
The V4K is compatible with various software that recognize the video source from the V4K, which is a standard UVC camera. It is recommended to use it with the IPEVO Visualizer software. You can download IPEVO Visualizer at: http://support.ipevo.com/v4k
Getting to Know Your V4K
The V4K consists of three main parts: an 8 Megapixel camera, a versatile multi-jointed stand, and a weighted base.
- Camera: An 8 Megapixel camera. The camera head can be swiveled for customizing orientation.
- Multi-jointed stand: Allows for quick and easy changes in height and position to capture your material. To tighten loose joints, turn the bolts at the connecting joints clockwise with a coin.
- Weighted base: Provides a stable base for the V4K.
Key Controls and Indicators:
- 1. Focus button: Focuses on the subject.
- 2. AutoFocus switch: Sets the focus to Single (S) for static subjects or Continuous (C) for moving subjects.
- 3. Exposure toggle: Provides exposure customization.
- 4. LED indicator: Turns white when the V4K is in use and providing an image.
- 5. Microphone: Activates when the V4K is in use. It can be selected as your audio device for video recording.
