About This Manual
Read these instructions for use carefully before using the appliance and save them for future reference.
Important Information
- Noise level: Lc <85 dB(A)
- Appliance usage by children (aged 8+) and persons with reduced capabilities: Supervision or instruction required. Children must not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and maintenance by children: Only if older than 8 and supervised.
- Voltage check: Ensure appliance voltage matches local mains voltage.
- Hazard prevention: Never connect to timer switches or remote control systems.
- Damaged parts: Do not use if cord, plug, or other parts are damaged. Damaged cords must be replaced by authorized personnel.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Never leave unattended.
- Maximum operating time: Do not exceed 10 minutes per application.
- Switching off: Always switch off using the on/off button.
- Accessory removal: Switch off and unplug before detaching accessories.
- Motor unit care: Never immerse in water or other liquid; do not rinse under tap.
- Pushing ingredients: Never use fingers or objects (e.g., spatula) to push ingredients. Use only the pusher.
- Cutter unit handling: Handle with extreme care, especially during removal and cleaning. Cutting edges are very sharp.
- Accessories: Use only Gorenje-approved parts and accessories. Using non-approved parts voids the warranty.

Safety System
The appliance is equipped with a non-resettable, current-sensitive glass fuse that cuts off power in case of motor failure to prevent overheating. The system also automatically cuts off power in case of overheating.
If your appliance suddenly stops running:
- Pull the mains plug out of the socket.
- Let the appliance cool down for 60 minutes.
- Plug the mains plug back into the socket.
- Press the switch button to turn off the appliance.
- Press the circuit breaker button at the bottom of the appliance to turn on the appliance.
If the thermostat system activates too often, contact your dealer or an authorized service center.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Tips and Warnings:
- Remove meat residue from the cutter housing by grinding pieces of bread through it.
- Always switch off and unplug the appliance before removing accessories or cleaning the motor unit.
- Remove the pusher and feeding tray.
- Unscrew the screw ring and remove the grinding disc, cutter unit, and worm shaft.
- Remove the cutter housing by pressing the release button and turning it to the right.
- The cutter unit and grinding discs should be lightly brushed with fat or oil to prevent rusting.
- Do not clean metal parts in the dishwasher, as detergents can cause darkening or oxidation.
Environment
Do not dispose of the appliance with normal household waste. Hand it in at an official collection point for recycling to help preserve the environment.
