SENSSUN iF-12 SERIES Smart Body Fat Scale: Instructions for Use

1. Battery Installation and Charging

(1) For scales powered by AAA batteries:

First Use: Open the battery cover on the back of the scale and remove the insulating strip.
Change Battery: Open the battery cover, then install batteries properly according to the diagrams.

Note: Close the battery cover after installation. Use the correct battery type. Remove batteries if the scale will not be used for over three months.

(2) For scales with built-in rechargeable battery:

The scale requires a full charge upon first use or after long-term storage. The battery symbol ? flashes during charging and remains solid when charging is complete. Charging takes approximately 2 hours.
Use an Android 5V charger with a current of 2A or less. Do not use chargers with a voltage greater than 5V.
It is recommended to charge the scale every 3 months if it is not used for an extended period.

Remark: The battery symbol ? is displayed on the LCD during charging. For safety, do not use the scale while it is charging. Begin weighing only after charging is finished and the charger is removed.

2. Download and Set Up the Application

Search for "MovingLife" in the "App Store" or "Google Play" to download the application. Alternatively, scan the provided QR code.

3. Registering and Connecting

Open the "MovingLife" app, connect the device, and submit your personal profile. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the scale's LCD is lit before connecting.

Note: Providing accurate personal information is crucial for obtaining precise measurements.

4. Start Weighing

Place the scale on a hard, flat floor. Stand on the scale with bare feet. Wait for the weight reading to stabilize and flash, indicating data transmission. The scale will automatically shut off after a few seconds. The app will then display and save all recorded measurements and history.

5. Multiple Users Supported

The scale can be connected with multiple users. The total number of users supported may vary depending on the specific product model.

6. Warning Indications on LCD

Calibration: "Err" indicates an error. Please re-test to obtain a correct result.
Over-load Indication: An overload warning (e.g., "Err") signifies that the weight on the platform exceeds the scale's maximum capacity. Please step off the scale to prevent damage.
Low Battery Indication: "Lo" indicates that the battery power is running low.

7. Weight Unit Setting and Scale Restarting

Weight units can be set via the APP. If the app is unavailable, you can press the "UNIT" button located on the back of the scale to convert the weight unit.

Remarks:

The unit system used by the scale is determined by its destination market or distributor requirements.

This product can be used to weigh yourself and calculate body fat percentage (%) and hydration percentage (%) after you input parameters such as gender, height, and age. These measurements are intended as an indication of your body fat status.

Advice for Use & Care

For accurate data, it is recommended to perform measurements at the same time each day. Avoid using the scale in environments with strong electromagnetic fields or significant vibration.
Stand on the scale steadily with your bare feet touching the electrodes on the platform. Be mindful of the scale's edges to prevent tipping or falling. Maintain a stable stance while using the scale.
Do not use the scale in humid or excessively hot environments (recommended temperature range: 5°C to 35°C).
If the battery runs out, remove it promptly to prevent potential leakage and corrosion of the scale's body.
If the product is not working correctly:
- For scales using 1.5V AAA batteries, check battery installation and power levels. Insert or replace batteries as needed.
- For scales with a built-in rechargeable battery, press the restart button using a sharp object to reset the scale.
Do not drop, shock, or strike the scale, as it is a precise instrument.
Keep the scale clean. Avoid using acidic cleaning agents.

FAQ

The software can't obtain weighing results from the Smart scale.

Confirm the connection status indicator on your smart device.
Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the Smart scale is within the valid signal range.
Check if the battery power is low.
Relaunch the application.
Turn Bluetooth off and then on again, and re-establish the Bluetooth connection between the scale and your smartphone.

Fail to connect to your device

Ensure only one device is attempting to connect with the Smart scale at a time.
Verify that your device is equipped with Bluetooth 4.0 or a later version.

LCD has no response

For scales powered by AAA batteries, check and replace the batteries if necessary.
For scales with a built-in rechargeable battery, recharge the scale using a USB cable.
Repairs should only be performed by authorized customer service or dealers.
