Design and Portability

The ScanQ X series is small and lightweight, measuring only 291 x 67 x 40 mm (11.5 in x 2.6 in x 1.6 in.) and weighing a mere 370 grams. This design pushes the limits of size and weight for extreme mobility while delivering smooth full-page document scanning. The ScanQ X series are small enough to be packed with your laptop and share your documents from just about anywhere, anytime.

Ease of Use

Start a scan as long as a photo is inserted: Simply insert a page up to 14" (356 mm) in length or a plastic card up to 0.8 mm in thickness and press the scan button of your application; the scan can be started immediately. Scanned images are automatically cropped, deskewed (automatically straightened).

Find Your Document Quickly: Bundled software helps organize and find important information. ScanQ X includes a powerful suite of bundled software designed to help you organize and find the information important to you.

Earth-Friendly LED Technology: The LED technology requires no warm-up time and has lower power consumption. The ScanQ X series provide auto shutdown after inaction for 15 minutes to save power.

Information Sharing

Once documents are scanned and organized, easily send and share the valuable information they contain with your team, clients, or headquarters. Scanning documents into a searchable PDF format allows information to be shared with anyone and quickly found later, making it easier than sorting through physical paper.

Bundled Software

The ScanQ X series come with Avision Button Manager V2.

Avision's Button Manager V2

Button Manager V2 makes it easy to scan and send your image to your favorite destinations with a single button press. The new version includes an innovative feature to scan and automatically upload scanned documents to popular cloud repositories like Google Docs and Microsoft SharePoint, or to an FTP server. The iScan feature allows you to insert scanned images or recognized text (after optional OCR) into text editors like Microsoft Word for easy job completion.

Advanced TWAIN Driver

Avision's easy-to-use TWAIN driver provides various useful features such as auto color detection and color matching to enhance image quality and improve productivity.

Color Drop Out

Supports R/G/B 3 channel color drop out, and any specific color can be selected as a color filter.

Binarization – Dynamic Threshold

When original documents are contaminated or damaged, containing marks, white fonts, etc., the intelligent image enhancement tool helps create sharp and crisp images.

Invert / Mirror

Invert: Reverses the brightness and colors in the image. Mirror: Reverses the right and left sides of the image.
