Purpose of usage: This product is designed for home use only. It is not suitable for commercial use or outdoor environments. It should be used for cooking purposes only.
Child, vulnerable person and pet safety: The product can be used by children 8 years and older, and individuals with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, if supervised or trained. Children should not play with the product. Cleaning and maintenance should not be performed by unsupervised children. Keep packaging materials away from children.
Electrical safety: Connect to a grounded outlet protected by a fuse. Installation must be done by a qualified electrician. Ensure the plug or connection is easily accessible. Do not use if the cord is damaged. Use only the specified connecting cable. Do not plug into loose or damaged outlets.
Transportation safety: Disconnect from mains before transporting. Wrap securely to prevent damage. Check for damage after transportation.
Installation safety: Check for damage before installation. Do not install near heat sources. Keep ventilation ducts open.
Safety of use: Turn off after each use. Disconnect if not used for a long time. Do not operate if defective or damaged. If the surface is cracked, switch off immediately. Do not climb on the product. Do not use under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Keep flammable objects away from the cooking area. Use cookware with flat bottoms and avoid sliding them. Ensure hob surface and pot bottoms are dry to prevent movement.
Temperature warnings: Exposed parts are hot during operation. Do not touch heating elements. Keep children away. Do not place flammable/explosive materials nearby.
Accessory use: Use only manufacturer-approved hob guards.
Cooking safety: Observe cooking processes. Unattended cooking with fat or oil can be dangerous and may result in fire. Never use water to extinguish an oil fire; use a fire blanket or damp cloth. Be careful when using alcohol; it evaporates and can catch fire.
Induction: Hotplates use induction technology. Use only pots suitable for induction cooking. Induction hobs create a magnetic field; consult a doctor if you use a pacemaker or insulin pump. Close the hotplate from the control panel after use, do not rely on the pot sensor. Do not place metal objects on the hotplate. Metal items stored in drawers underneath may become very hot.
Maintenance and cleaning safety: Wait for the product to cool before cleaning. Do not spray water. Do not use steam cleaners. Avoid abrasive detergents or sharp objects. Do not wash components in a dishwasher.

4 How to Use the Hob
General information on hob usage
General warnings: Do not let objects fall on the hob. Do not use cracked hobs. Turn off the fuse and call service if damaged. Do not use unbalanced pots. Do not heat empty pots. Always turn off burners after use. Do not place plastic pots on hot surfaces. Avoid sudden temperature changes on the glass surface. Put sufficient food in pots. Do not place pot covers on burners. Center pots on zones. Lift, do not slide, pots when moving them between zones.
Operating principle of the induction hob: An induction hob generates a magnetic field, heating the pot directly. The glass surface is heated by the pot.
Advantages of cooking with induction: Faster cooking, energy saving, easier cleaning as the surface is not directly heated, safer use as heat stops when pots are removed.
For a safe operation: Do not select high heating levels for non-stick pans without oil. Do not use the glass surface as a cutting board. Do not place metal objects on the hob. Never use aluminum foil. Keep magnetic objects away.
Cooking pots/pans
Diagram Description: Illustrations showing how cookware bases are heated. One shows a pot with a smaller ferromagnetic area being heated only in that area, leading to uneven heating. Another shows a pot with a non-ferromagnetic base (like aluminum) not heating properly or not being detected. A third diagram shows cookware centered on different zones for optimal heating.
Suitable pots/pans: Cast iron, enamelled steel, steel and stainless steel (with induction compatible label).
Unsuitable pots/pans: Aluminium, copper, brass, glass, pottery, ceramic, and porcelain.
Recommendations: Use flat-bottomed pots/pans. Do not use pots/pans with convex or concave bases. Use pots/pans with thick, processed bases. Thin-based pots may melt.
Diagram Description: A test for pot compatibility. 1. Check if a magnet sticks to the pot base. 2. Check if specific symbols flash on the hob when a pot is placed and the hob is turned on.
Recommended cooking pots/pans sizes:
Diameter of cooking zone - mm | Pot diameter - mm |
---|---|
145 | min. 100 - max 145 |
180 | min. 100 - max 180 |

6 General information about cooking
This section provides tips on preparing and cooking food.
General warnings about cooking with hob:
- Never fill a pan with oil more than one-third full.
- Do not leave the hob unattended when heating oil. Overheated oils pose a fire risk.
- Never attempt to extinguish a fire with water! Use a fire blanket or damp cloth. Turn off the hob if safe.
- Before frying, remove excess water from food and add slowly to heated oil. Defrost frozen foods.
- Ensure the pot is dry and its lid is open when heating oil.
- Refer to "Environmental Instructions" for power-saving cooking recommendations.
- Cooking temperature and time values are given as ranges and may vary by recipe.
7 Maintenance and care
General cleaning information:
- Wait for the product to cool before cleaning.
- Do not apply detergents directly on hot surfaces.
- Clean and dry thoroughly after each operation.
- Do not use steam cleaning products.
- Avoid abrasive detergents, powders, creams, or sharp objects.
- Use dish soap, warm water, and a soft cloth/sponge. Dry with a microfiber cloth.
- Wipe off any remaining liquid and clean food splashes immediately.
- Do not wash any component in a dishwasher.
For the hob: Acidic dirt (milk, tomato paste, oil) can cause permanent stains. Clean overflows immediately after cooling.
Inox and stainless surfaces: Do not use acid or chlorine-containing agents. Clean with a soft soapy cloth and liquid detergent, wiping in one direction. Remove stains promptly. Stains may rust over time.
Glass surfaces: Do not use hard metal scrapers or abrasive materials. Clean with dishwashing detergent, warm water, and a microfiber cloth. Dry with a microfiber cloth. Remove residual detergent with cold water. Do not use knives or wire wool to clean dried residue. Calcium stains can be removed with descaling agents (vinegar, lemon juice). For heavy soiling, apply cleaner, wait, then clean. Discolorations are normal.
Plastic parts and painted surfaces: Clean with dishwashing detergent, warm water, and a soft cloth/sponge. Dry with a dry cloth. Avoid hard metal scrapers and abrasive cleaners.
Cleaning the hob:
Glass cooking surface: Follow general cleaning steps. Clean sugar-based foods immediately. Do not use cleaning agents on a hot hob.
Cleaning the control panel: Wipe with a damp soft cloth and dry. Do not remove knobs. For touch control panels, set key lock before cleaning.
8 Troubleshooting
Consult the Authorised Service Agent or technician if you cannot remedy a trouble. Never attempt to repair a defective product yourself.
Product does not operate: Check mains fuse, plug connection, and key lock function. Disconnect and reconnect at the circuit breaker if the display does not light up. Allow hob to cool if overheat protection is active. Check pot suitability.
[symbol-question-mark] and "[symbol-question-mark]" or "[symbol-question-mark]" symbol appears on the cooking zone display: Pot not placed, not compatible with induction, not centered, or overheated. Allow to cool.
Selected cooking zone suddenly turns off during operation: Cooking time may be over, overheat protection active, or an object covering the panel. Remove object.
The pot does not get warm even if the cooking zone is on: Pot not compatible with induction, not centered, or bottom surface too small. Choose a suitable pot and center it.
Cooling fan continues operating although the hob is turned off: This is normal. The fan operates until the electronics cool down.
Noise from the cooker during cooking: Sounds from fan, transformer operation, cookware material, or using multiple zones are normal for induction technology.
