Labeling Requirements and Standards
General Quality Standards
- Surface: No obvious deformation, damage, scratches, or missing parts.
- Text and Graphics: No obvious positional offset, skewing, ghosting, blurring, color fading, or peeling.
- Color: Must be within the upper and lower limits of the standard color swatch.
- Product Resistance Test (Coating): No peeling phenomenon after application of contents.
- Inspection Method (Coating): Apply contents to the printed surface, let stand for 24 hours, then wipe back and forth 10 times with ordinary gauze. No fading, ink transfer, or ink (hot stamping/silver) peeling should occur.
- Water Resistance (Printing): No peeling phenomenon.
- Inspection Method (Water Resistance): Immerse the label in water for 20 minutes, remove, and wipe back and forth 10 times with medical gauze. No fading, ink transfer, or ink (hot stamping/silver) peeling should occur.
Material Requirements
Material: PET environmental material, coated with matte fine frosted film.
Adhesive: 3M adhesive backing.
SN Code Format
The Serial Number (S/N) is structured as follows:
- First 6 digits: Production Date (e.g., 220728 for July 28, 2022).
- Next 4 digits: Supplier ID (ERP system).
- Next 1+4 digits: Supplier Production Serial Number.
- 1 digit: Used to distinguish multiple SKUs on the same day (1-9).
- 4 digits: Based on order quantity (0001-9999).
- Font Size: Minimum font size must not be less than 6pt.
Compliance and Symbols
The labels include standard compliance marks:
- CE Mark: Indicates conformity with health, safety, and environmental protection standards for products sold within the European Economic Area (EEA).
- WEEE Symbol: ♻️ (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) - Indicates that the product should not be disposed of with household waste.
