1. Battery & Charging

Connect the gimbal to a power source using the provided Type-A to Type-C USB cable. Use a power adapter rated 5V-2A. The gimbal features a battery level indicator.

2. Mounting A Phone

Open the phone clamp. Place your smartphone securely into the clamp and close it to secure it. The clamp is included once (x1).

3. Landscape Orientation

Attach your phone to the gimbal for landscape video recording. For smaller phones (e.g., iPhone 15), use the left side of the clamp. For larger phones (e.g., iPhone 15 Pro Max), use the right side of the clamp.

4. Portrait Orientation

Attach your phone to the gimbal for portrait video recording.

5. Hohem Joy App

Download and install the "Hohem Joy App" on your smartphone. Connect your gimbal to the app for advanced features. The app interface shows connection status, transitioning from "Searching..." to "Connected" with the iSteady Mobile+.

6. Fill Light

The gimbal features an integrated fill light. Adjust its brightness and color temperature using the Hohem Joy App for optimal lighting conditions.

7. Operation

Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds.

Gimbal Modes:

• Sport Mode: Press the joystick/button once (x1).
• All Lock Mode: Press and hold the joystick/button once (x1 + hold).
• Recenter Gimbal: Press the joystick/button twice (x2).
• Ultra-Wide-Angle Mode: Press the joystick/button four times (x4).

App Controls: The Hohem Joy App provides controls for recording (REC button), power (On/Off button), and various gimbal modes such as PF, PTF, L, and POV.
