This series of multimeters features stable performance, high accuracy, and clear reading results. With a built-in flashlight for safe operation in low-light conditions and a non-contact voltage detection function, it is an ideal device for use in industrial settings, electrical engineering, engineering work, and for repair and maintenance operations.

2. Safety Information

The design of this series of multimeters complies with IEC1010 (safety standards issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission). Please read the precautions carefully before using the device. Strictly adhere to safety regulations during use to avoid personal injury or damage to the instrument.

  1. When measuring voltage, do not input a voltage exceeding the effective value of 600 V DC or 600 V AC.
  2. Voltages below 36 V are considered safe. When measuring voltages above 36 V, please pay attention to safety, as voltages over 36 V can cause harm to the human body.
  3. When changing functions and ranges, the test leads should leave the measurement point.
  4. Select the correct function and range. Be cautious of incorrect operation. Although this series of instruments has a full-range protection function, for safety reasons, please pay more attention to your personal safety.
  5. Safety symbols indicate: "Danger of electric shock" ⚡, "Ground" ?, "Double insulation" ?, "Operator must refer to instructions" ?, "Low battery symbol" ?.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Automatic DC/AC Voltage and Current Scanning (DCV/ACV)

  1. Press and hold the power button for more than 2 seconds to turn on the multimeter. The startup screen displays "AUTO" for automatic scanning.
  2. Insert the black test lead into the "COM" jack and the red test lead into the "V/Ω" jack. Ensure the test probes are securely connected.
  3. When the voltage between the "COM" and "V/Ω" input ports exceeds 0.5 V, the multimeter compares the DC and AC components of the input signal, selects the larger component, automatically switches to the appropriate range based on the measured value, and displays the measured value on the LCD.
  4. If the value cannot be measured accurately in an environment with strong interference, press the power button to manually select the DC or AC voltage measurement mode.

Note:

  • The input voltage should not exceed 600 V DC or 600 V AC to prevent damage to the instrument. When measuring voltages above 36 V, pay close attention to safety to avoid electric shock.
  • After completing all measurement operations, disconnect the multimeter from the test circuit.

5.2. Resistance Measurement

  3. If the resistance measured across both ends of the test lead is less than 50 Ω, the buzzer will sound continuously, indicating a quick measurement. Press the power button to manually select the quick measurement buzzer function.
  4. When measuring the resistance of a closed loop, both ends of the resistance must be connected for discharge. Otherwise, if the voltage in the loop exceeds 0.6 V, the instrument may incorrectly interpret it as a voltage measurement and enter the voltage measurement mode.
  5. If the resistance between the red and black test leads exceeds 50 Ω, the multimeter will automatically switch to the appropriate range based on the actual resistance measurement value, and the measured value will be displayed on the LCD.

Notes:

  • For accurate low-resistance measurements, you can first record the short-circuit reading of the test leads and subtract this value from the measurement reading.
  • When measuring resistance, disconnect all power sources from the circuit and discharge all capacitors to ensure the accuracy of the measured value.

5.3. Diode Test

  1. Press and hold the power button for more than 2 seconds to turn on the multimeter. The startup screen displays "AUTO" for automatic scanning. Press the power button to manually select the diode measurement function.
  2. Insert the black test lead into the "COM" jack and the red test lead into the "V/Ω" jack. Ensure the test probes are securely connected.
  3. The multimeter will display the forward voltage drop of the measured diode on the LCD. If the polarity of the diode connected to the probes is reversed, or if the diode is open, the multimeter's LCD will display "OL".

5.4. Capacitance Measurement

  1. Press and hold the power button for more than 2 seconds to turn on the multimeter. The startup screen displays "AUTO" for automatic scanning. Press the power button to switch to the capacitance measurement function.
  2. Insert the black test lead into the "COM" jack and the red test lead into the "V/Ω" jack. Ensure the test probes are securely connected.
  3. The multimeter will automatically switch to the appropriate range based on the capacitance value between the red and black probes, and the measured capacitance value will be displayed on the LCD. The capacitance measurement ranges are 10nF / 100nF / 1μF / 10μF / 100μF / 1mF / 10mF / 60mF.

Notes:

  • Before measuring capacitance, fully discharge the capacitor, otherwise it may enter voltage measurement mode.
  • When measuring capacitance with the 10 nF range, the LCD may show a residual reading due to the distributed capacitance of the test leads. This can be subtracted from the measurement after the reading stabilizes.
  • The LCD may show unstable readings or values with serious leakage or breakdown when measuring large capacitors. For large capacitance measurements, readings may stabilize within a few seconds, which is normal.
  • Measurement units: 1 F = 1000 mF, 1 mF = 1000 μF, 1 μF = 1000 nF, 1 nF = 1000 pF.

5.5. Current Test (DC / AC A)

  1. Press and hold the power button for more than 2 seconds to turn on the multimeter. The startup screen displays "AUTO" for automatic scanning.
  2. Insert the black test lead into the "COM" jack and the red test lead into the "10A" jack. Ensure the test probes are securely connected.
  3. For input currents greater than 20 mA between the "COM" and "10A" ports, the multimeter will display the current value with a large component of the AC/DC component on the LCD.

Notes:

  • Before connecting the instrument to the circuit being tested, the power supply to the circuit must be turned off.
  • The maximum input current is 10 A. If the current is too high, the internal fuse may blow. Be cautious. Each measurement should not exceed 10 seconds. Excessive current or prolonged measurement can cause the instrument's casing to overheat or even be damaged.
  • Do not connect the test probe in parallel to any circuit when the red test lead is inserted into the "10A" jack, as this may damage the fuse and the device.
  • After completing all measurement operations, first turn off the power supply, then disconnect the test leads from the circuit being measured.
  • The voltage between the "10A" port and the "COM" port should not exceed 36 V DC or 25 V AC.

5.6. NCV Measurement

  1. Press and hold the power button for more than 2 seconds to turn on the multimeter. Press the "NCV" button to enter EF measurement. Continue pressing the button.
  2. The instrument has an NCV induction test end. When the induction end is close to the AC voltage source, the buzzer will emit a continuous sound at different frequencies according to the intensity of the signal. Simultaneously, different segments will be displayed on the LCD corresponding to the signal strength.

6. Automatic Device Shutdown

The device has an automatic shutdown function. If the multimeter is not used for 15 minutes, it will automatically enter sleep mode. To restart the device, press and hold the power button for more than 2 seconds to exit sleep mode and return to the automatic scanning measurement state. "AUTO" is displayed on the LCD. If you wish to disable the automatic shutdown function, press and hold the "HOLD" button and the power button simultaneously. The automatic shutdown function will then be canceled.
