CarLink ASCL1/ASCL2 Web User Guide

Introduction
This guide provides instructions for using the CarLink web interface for ASCL1 and ASCL2 systems. It covers account creation, vehicle management, settings, and warranty information.

New Account Creation
After installing CarLink, follow these steps to create an account. If you have already created an account via a smartphone app, you can use the same login credentials for the web app.
- Go to my.vox.carlink.com and select the "Not yet registered? Sign up" link.
- Enter your email address and a password. This will be your CarLink login.
- Accept the Terms and Conditions.
The interface displays fields for Email and Password, a "LOG IN" button, and links for "Sign up" and "Forgot your password?". A separate section shows a form for "SIGN UP AS A NEW USER" with fields for Name, Email, Password, and Confirm Password, and a "Sign up" button.
Login to Your Account
To control your vehicle via the CarLink website, log in using your registered email and password at my.vox.carlink.com.
The login interface includes fields for Email and Password, a "LOG IN" button, and links for "Sign up" and "Forgot your password?".
Password Recovery
If you forget your password:
- On the login screen, select the "Forgot your password?" link.
- Enter the email address associated with your account.
- Click "Send" to receive your password via email.
The password recovery interface shows a field for Email and a "Send" button, with text indicating that instructions will be emailed.
Home Page
Upon logging in or creating an account, you will be directed to the home page. From here, you can edit your profile, manage billing information, add vehicles, access FAQs, and download user guides. Once a vehicle is added, you can also control its functions from this page.
The home page displays sections for User Profile, Billing Information, Add Car, FAQs, and Documentation & Manuals. It also lists available guides:

User Profile
Edit your personal information by selecting "User Profile" from the home page. Ensure your Time Zone is set correctly, as it can affect feature functionality.
The User Profile section allows updating personal information (Name, Company, State, Time Zone) and security information (Current Password, Email, New Password, Confirm Password).
Billing Information
Billing information is managed at the account level and applies to all subscriptions. Subscription details are managed at the vehicle level, allowing different renewal periods for multiple vehicles. Access "Billing Information" from the home page to add or edit your details.
The interface prompts users to "ENTER BILLING INFORMATION" with fields for Creditcard Information (Cardholder Name, Card Type, Card Number, Card Security Code, Expiration Date) and Billing Address (Address, City, State, Zip Code, Country).
Add Car
To add a vehicle to your account, select "Add Car" from the home page. You must be logged in.
- Enter the vehicle name.
- Enter the 19-digit SIM number provided by your dealer.
- Enter a one-time use, 4-digit code provided by your dealer.
- Toggle alerts on or off.
The "ADD CAR" interface includes fields for Name, SIM Number, and Passcode, along with checkboxes for "Door Alert" and "Shock Alert" and a "SAVE" button.
FAQs
The FAQs section provides answers to frequently asked questions regarding subscriptions and general CarLink information.

Vehicle Access and Control
Use the icons on the Keypad/Home Screen to operate CarLink features. For more information, visit my.vox.carlink.com.
Note: Feature response time is affected by cellular data coverage and network congestion.
The app interface displays icons for various functions:
- Paul's Porche (App with Basic Service): [lock-icon] LOCK, [unlock-icon] UNLOCK, [find-icon] FIND, [start-icon] START, AUX 1, AUX 2, Edit Car, Subscription.
- Z71 Tahoe (App with GPS Service): [lock-icon] LOCK, [unlock-icon] UNLOCK, [find-icon] FIND, [gps-icon] START, AUX 1, AUX 2, Edit Car, Subscription.
Button feedback: BLUE indicates activation, GREEN confirms operation, RED indicates a command was not received.
Multiple Vehicle Access and Control
If you have added multiple vehicles to your account, they will be displayed on the same web page. Scroll to select the desired vehicle for operation.
The interface shows examples for "Paul's Porche" and "Z71 Tahoe" with similar control layouts.
Car Settings
The Car Settings screen allows you to edit the vehicle's name and toggle other settings based on your subscription. Some features require compatible alarm systems (Code Alarm, Prestige, Pursuit). Consult your dealer for details.
Select a vehicle from the home screen to edit its features. Click "SAVE" to apply changes.
Name: Edit the vehicle's name, which appears in the app and on the website.
Geofences: Configure custom Geofences for notifications. You can choose to be notified upon entering, exiting, or both.
The interface displays fields for Name and SIM ICCID, and toggles for various alerts:
- Door Alert: ✔️ (receive alerts if the door alarm is triggered)
- Shock Alert: ✔️ (receive alerts if the shock alarm is triggered)
- Low Battery Alert: ✔️ (receive alerts if the battery reaches low power state)
- Security Fence Alert: ✔️ (receive alerts if the vehicle location changes while armed)
- Speed Alert: Set speed limit (e.g., 50 mph) ✔️ (receive alerts if the vehicle exceeds this speed)
- Daily Location Alert: Set time (e.g., 13:00) ✔️ (receive daily alerts of vehicle location)
A map interface is shown for setting up Geofences, allowing selection of shape ([Rectangle], [Circle]) and alert triggers ([Exiting], [Entering]).
Alert Details
Door and Shock Alert: Configure alerts (text, email, or both) for security system triggers (shock sensor or door opening while armed). Alert recipients must be added in the mobile app.
Low Battery Alert: Receive alerts when the vehicle's battery voltage drops to 11 volts or lower. Recipients must be added in the mobile app.
Security Fence Alert: Activates a 500-meter Geofence around the vehicle when it's locked via the app. You'll be notified if the vehicle leaves this area. To disable, the vehicle must be unlocked using the app; using the physical key or remote will leave the Geofence active.
Speed Alert: Receive alerts if the vehicle's speed exceeds a set limit for more than 10 seconds.
Daily Location Alert: Receive daily alerts with the vehicle's current location at a specified time. If the location cannot be determined, you will be notified, and the system will attempt to reach the vehicle for the next 30 minutes.
Subscriptions
View, renew, or add GPS functionality to a subscription for a specific vehicle. Subscription settings are individual per vehicle. The auto-renew option can be toggled on or off.
Note: GPS functionality requires a compatible device; consult your dealer.
The interface shows subscription status for vehicles, including options to "Edit Car" and "Subscription". It details current and previous subscription terms (Term Length, Start Date, End Date, Cost, Purchased Date).

12 Month Limited Warranty
This warranty applies to Audiovox Series Control Modules, Sirens, Sensors, Transmitters, and Relays.
Audiovox Electronics Corporation warrants the product against defects in material or workmanship for 12 months from the original purchase date. Defects will be repaired or replaced at the company's option, without charge for parts or labor.
To obtain service, the product must be delivered with proof of purchase, authorization number, defect specification, and transportation prepaid to an approved warranty station. The warranty is not transferable.
Exclusions: This warranty does not cover damage to the vehicle's electrical system, installation/removal costs, batteries, screens, or damage due to alteration, improper installation, misuse, neglect, accidents, or defaced serial numbers.
Implied warranties are limited to the duration of this written warranty. Actions for breach must be brought within 24 months of original purchase. Audiovox is not liable for consequential or incidental damages.
The company's liability is limited to repair or replacement, not exceeding the purchase price of the product.
Some states may have different regulations regarding implied warranty duration or incidental/consequential damages.
