What can Tea Pro's screen do?
The 0.95" AMOLED screen on Tea Pro shows:
- Connection status (Bluetooth / USB-C)
- Gain level (High / Low)
- Current EQ mode
- Audio format
- Battery level
- Sampling rate
It also lets you navigate menus to adjust EQ and gain, clear Bluetooth pairings, and reset to factory settings.
Can Tea Pro connect to wireless headphones over Bluetooth?
No. Tea Pro is designed to receive (not transmit) Bluetooth audio and output it through wired headphones via its 3.5 mm or 4.4 mm jacks.
Does Tea Pro's 4.4 mm headphone jack support balanced audio?
Yes. Compared with the previous generation, Tea Pro adds a 4.4 mm headphone jack that supports balanced audio transmission. The principle is to use independent positive/negative differential signals to cancel out noise during transmission, resulting in cleaner sound quality. To achieve a slimmer form factor, Khadas abandoned standard off-the-shelf components and developed a custom 4.4 mm balanced connector.
How can I connect my audio to Tea Pro?
Tea Pro supports:
- USB-C wired input.
- Bluetooth wireless input, including high-res codecs like LDAC and aptX Lossless.
What phones work with Tea Pro's magnetic mount?
It supports MagSafe for:
- All iPhones from 12 to 16 series.
- Android phones, if the case has supporting magnets (e.g. MagSafe-compatible cases)
Does the 3.5 mm or 4.4 mm jack support mics or inline controls?
3.5 mm Headphone Jack: Yes—full CTIA support. When Tea Pro is connected to your phone via Bluetooth, plug in a CTIA (Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association) headphone and you get mic and button controls. Non-CTIA headphones still work but only output sound.
4.4 mm Headphone Jack: No mic or controls—audio output only.
How does Tea Pro's microphone work?
When your device is connected to Tea Pro via Bluetooth, you can use Tea Pro's built-in microphone for calls and other voice functions.
During an incoming call, if you answer the call on your phone, it uses your phone's mic.
If you answer on the Tea Pro:
- It uses your headphone's mic (if available).
- Otherwise, it uses Tea Pro's built-in mic.
