Ensure power is off before connecting speakers. Use appropriate speaker cables. Connect the positive (+) terminal of the speaker to the positive (+) terminal of the amplifier and the negative (-) terminal to the negative (-) terminal. Incorrect polarity can result in unnatural sound and loss of bass.
Speaker Wire Connection Methods:
- Prepare speaker wire by stripping approximately 6-10 mm of insulation from the ends.
- Loosen the speaker knob, insert the bare wire, and tighten the knob to secure it.
- Banana plug connectors can also be used by inserting them into the corresponding terminals.
Caution: Avoid short-circuiting the speakers by ensuring bare wires do not touch other terminals or wires.
3. Connecting the Audio Input/Output
Connect audio sources like CD/DVD players to the AUDIO INPUT jacks using audio cables. Connect a pre-amplifier to the LINE OUTPUT jacks if needed.
4. Connecting the FM Antenna
Connect the supplied FM antenna to the Tuner Antenna port on the rear panel. Extend the antenna fully for best reception. Ensure any replacement antenna uses the same port type.
5. Turning on the Amplifier Receiver
Ensure the Voltage Selector on the rear panel is set correctly for your local voltage. Connect the power cord to a wall outlet and press the [Power] button on the front panel to turn the unit on.
