Installation Instructions
- Remove the rear light clusters, 3 fixings inside the boot, ease the light backward to release the clip.
- Remove the rear bumper, fixings along lower edge, one fixing on lower wheel arch, one tip fixing and one fixing beneath each light cluster. (ESTATE ONLY: Four fixings on boot shut panels).
- Lower the rear exhaust silencer and support to prevent any damage. (V6 MODEL Lower both silencers).
- Remove the bumper beam. (This is not refitted with the Towbar).
- Locate Towbar mounting points and clear of any tape or mastic.
- Using original fixings bolt the exhaust hangers item L on the rear panel.
- Using Item F loosely bolt Items B to Item A ensuring correct bolt orientation as shown.
- Insert the complete Towbar into the chassis.
- Using item E with item J fix the Towbar assembly into place through the existing Towbar mounting points.
- Using items G with item K and items H with items K bolt item C to item A.
- Fully tighten all nuts and bolts and ensure Towbar is rigid, square and secure.
- Re-hang the exhaust silencers onto item L using item M.
- Cut the bumper centrally 85 wide x 85 deep and refit.
- Using items D bolt the ball bracket and wiring plate (not supplied in this kit) to the face plate and fully tighten.
