Technical Specifications

Compatible with most brand's socket programs: Jung, Busch Jäger, Gira, Berker, Merten.

The dimmer features a switch for leading or trailing edge control, suitable for different types of loads.

Basic Network Requirements

Your tablet or smartphone must be connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. If you own a 5GHz router, you must select the 2.4GHz network or disable the 5GHz network first in your router's menu. Refer to your router manual for instructions.

Note: This device only supports 2.4GHz WiFi networks.

Installation Guide

Step 1: Power Off

Turn off the power of the specific power group in the fuse box. Double-check if the existing wall dimmer is truly turned off. [Power symbol] Observe the 5 safety rules of electrical engineering.

Step 2: Disassemble Old Device

Disassemble the old dimmer or switch from the wall box.

Step 3: Connect Wires

Connect the power wires according to the wiring diagram. The dimmer has terminals for Live (L), Neutral (N), and Load. Ensure correct connections.

Step 4: Install Dimmer

Install the dimmer into the wall box and fix it securely with the 2 screws.

Step 5: Power On and Test

Turn on the power again in the fuse box. The LED indicator on the dimmer should flash quickly. If it does not flash, reset the WiFi dimmer by pressing the reset button for 5 seconds.

App Setup and Pairing

Download and Create Account

Download the Idinio Smart app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Create a user account within the app.

Pairing the Device

Ensure that during the pairing process, both the device and your iOS or Android device remain within the WiFi range of your router.

Launch the Idinio Smart app and tap the '+' button in the top right corner.

Select 'Dimming and Switching' and then tap 'Smart 2-Wire WiFi Dimmer'.

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the pairing process.

Settings and Troubleshooting

Leading/Trailing Edge Selector

Try switching between R.L (leading edge) or R.C (trailing edge) mode if the light does not dim correctly or is flickering. The R.L mode is typically for inductive loads and lower wattage LEDs (10-100W), while R.C mode is for capacitive loads and higher wattage LEDs (5-250W).

Resetting the Device

If the device is not functioning as expected or needs to be re-paired, press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds. The LED indicator will flash quickly, indicating it's ready for pairing.

Load Compatibility

The dimmer is compatible with various load types:

• Dimmable LED lamps: Max. 225W
• Dimmable LED drivers: Max. 225W
• Incandescent lighting, HV Halogen lamps: Max. 250W
• Low voltage halogen lighting with electronic transformers: Max. 250W

Remarks: Due to the variety of LED lamp designs, the maximum number of LED lamps is dependent on the power factor result when connected to the dimmer. The maximum permitted number of drivers is max. 225W.
