Installation Instructions
- Cut the 1-1/2" Schedule 40 pipes (E and G) to fit the tub, using a PVC cutter or knife.
- Use a primer, then Type-N Medium solvent cement to assemble the bath drain pipes and fittings (D-G).
- Place the overflow gasket (H) onto the overflow tube (G) and insert into the tub overflow hole from the back of the tub.
- Screw the retainer nut (I) onto the overflow assembly from the inside of the tub. Hand-tighten only.
- Secure the drain elbow (D) and drain gasket (C) under the tub, by screwing in the spud (B) through the tub drain hole from inside the tub. If not testing, skip to Step 7.
- Screw the test cap gasket (N) and the test cap (M) into the spud (B) and test the system. Once testing is complete, remove the test cap gasket and the test cap.
- Cut away the test membrane from the overflow tube (G).
- Snap on the overflow faceplate (J) with the slot facing downward.
- Install the stopper assembly (A) into the spud (B).
Note: Stopper assembly (A) may vary depending on the type of stopper assembly being used.
