Flight Safety

For your safety, follow all safety rules and regulations when piloting drones.

  • According to relevant US regulations (FAA), drones must be registered, except for those weighing less than 250 grams and flown under the Exception for Recreational Aircraft. Visit the website faadronezone.faa.gov for registration. Be aware of local regulations regarding takeoff and landing. Ameta is not responsible for any damage, penalties, or injuries caused by illegal flights.
  • To comply with aviation electromagnetic requirements, it is prohibited to pilot drones within 10 km of both sides of a runway, or within 20 km of both sides of an airport runway. This prohibition is enforced by the competent authority in your country. Do not use drone or quadcopter models that have been tampered with.
  • Transfer the B4FLY application from Google Play or the App Store, which provides real-time information on airspace restrictions and other flight requirements based on GPS.
  • As of September 16, 2023, all drone pilots who are required to register their UAS must act in accordance with remote identification regulations.

Battery Safety

  • Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced with an incorrect type.
  • Dispose of used batteries according to instructions.
  • The battery must not be immersed in liquids under any circumstances. Avoid exposure to humidity or fire, as this may cause ignition or explosion.
  • Only use batteries and the USB charging cable provided by the manufacturer.
  • Do not use swollen or damaged batteries.
  • It is strictly prohibited to use batteries that are leaking or damaged.
  • It is recommended to use the battery between -10°C and 40°C (14°F-104°F). Overheating may cause ignition or explosion. The performance of a battery may be negatively affected by extremely low temperatures.
  • Do not puncture the battery with any sharp object.
  • The battery liquid is highly corrosive. If it comes into contact with skin or eyes, wash immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
  • Keep the battery away from children. Seek immediate medical attention if a child ingests a battery.
  • Never use a battery after it has fallen or suffered an impact.
  • Keep the battery away from heat sources, such as cars exposed to sunlight, or any stove or fog.
  • To prevent battery damage from over-discharge, avoid using the battery for long periods after it has been completely discharged. If a battery is overcharged, its cells will be damaged and it will not be rechargeable.
