Part 1: How to Use FOXWELL NT604 Elite (Out of Box)

This section guides you through the initial setup and basic operation of your FOXWELL NT604 Elite diagnostic tool.

Instructions:

1. Take out the scanner and the main cable. Plug one end into your scanner and the other end into the OBDII port of your car. The scanner will turn on automatically.
2. Turn on the ignition of your vehicle.
3. According to your need, choose the targeted menu to start your diagnosis.

Part 3: Register and Update

When Should I Update My Scanner?

Generally, the scanner can be used directly. It is recommended to update your scanner only when the following situations occur: it fails to work on your car, it's slow to load all menus, or if you need a newer software version.

How to Start Registration and Update?

(Only computers with Windows 7, 8, and 10 are supported. Mac or iOS are not supported.)

Update Process:

1. Visit the official website: www.foxwelltech.us. Select "Tools" under the "Support" column.
2. Scroll down the page and download the update tool for your scanner. Install the update tool on your computer and open it. ⬇️?
3. Click "Register" and input your email address to receive a code and set your password.
4. Remove the SD card from your scanner (the SD card is located at the bottom of the scanner). Insert the SD card into your card reader and then insert them into your computer. ?➡️? (Card reader is included in the package.)
5. Open the update tool and sign in with the email address and password you registered.
6. Your Serial Number (SN) will be auto-detected. Click "Activate". ✅
7. Click "Download" and then "Update". ⬇️⬆️
8. Please remove the SD card from your card reader and insert it back into your scanner. ?➡️?

1. Q: If it cannot work on my vehicle, how can I get tech support?

A: All our products are sent to the FBA center as brand new through strict security checks by Amazon. However, approximately 1% of customer return goods may be marked as sellable by Amazon without our control. If you receive a defective or used unit, please contact us for replacement.

4. Q: Will it do some service resets like oil light reset or ABS bleeding?

A: Please note that the FOXWELL NT604 Elite does not support maintenance reset functions. The NT604 Elite is a diagnostic scanner for ABS, SRS, transmission, and check engine systems.
