How to Use the System - Panel
The system panel provides access to various functions. Key components include:
- Status indicator: Displays the current operational status.
- Touch panel: The primary interface for interacting with the device.
- Keypad KP-102 (option): An optional physical keypad for input.
- Power indicator: Shows the power status.

Operating the Touch Screen

Touch Screen - Home

Displaying and Moving the Keypad
Displaying the keypad: Tap on a numeral or input area to bring up the keypad. The optional hardware keypad KP-102 can also be used.
Moving the keypad: Touch the upper side of the keypad and drag it to a preferred position on the screen.

Basic Copy Functions - Make a Copy
Follow these steps to make a copy:
- Position the original(s) on the scanner glass or in the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF).
- Tap ?️ (Copy) or Quick Copy on the home screen.
- Set your desired copy options (e.g., color, paper size, density).
- Tap ▶️ (Start).

Zoom Function
Adjust the size of your copies using the zoom feature:

Copy Operations - Settings
The Copy and Quick Copy screens offer various settings to customize your copies:

Mixed Original | Scan originals of different sizes. |
Original Setting | Configure settings to properly scan thin or folded paper. |
Blank Page Removal | Skip blank pages. |

Duplex Settings
Configure duplex (2-sided) scanning and copying:
- Position the original(s).
- Tap ?️ (Copy) on the home screen.
- Tap ⚙️ (Duplex Settings).
- Select the desired duplex option (e.g., 1-sided, 2-sided).
- Specify the original binding position (e.g., top, side).
- Tap ✔️ (OK).

Scan to E-mail (Direct Input)
Send scanned documents directly via email:
- Position the original(s).
- Tap ✉️ (Scan to Email) on the home screen.
- Tap ➕ (Add New Destination).
- Enter the destination email address.

Save File on a PC

Sending Data to Multiple Destinations / Using the Address Book
Send scanned documents to multiple recipients or groups:
- Position the original(s).
- Tap ✉️ (Scan to Email), ? (Scan to Box), or ? (Scan to PC).
- Select the destination tab (e.g., Email, Box, PC).
- Specify two or more destinations, or select a pre-defined group.
- Tap ✔️ (OK).
- Tap ▶️ (Start). The file is sent.

Search for a Destination (Address Book)
Find registered destinations:
- Position the original(s).

- Enter the search text and tap Search.

Register a Destination (Address Book)
