Thank you for purchasing the BOIFUN Digital Baby Monitor. This device allows you to see and hear your baby sleeping in another room or monitor older children in their playroom.
This User's Guide provides comprehensive information to help you get the most from your product. Before using the baby monitor, it is recommended to insert and fully charge the battery in the parent unit. This ensures continuous operation even if disconnected from the mains power. Please read the Safety Instructions on page 6 before installing the units.

1. Safety Instructions
WARNING
This baby monitor complies with all relevant standards regarding electromagnetic fields and is safe to use when handled as described in the User's Guide. Always read the instructions in this User's Guide carefully before using the device.
- Adult assembly is required. Keep small parts away from children when assembling.
- This product is not a toy. Do not allow children to play with it.
- This baby monitor is not a substitute for responsible adult supervision.
- Do not place the baby unit or cables in the cot or within arm's reach of the baby (at least 1 meter away).
- Keep the cords out of reach of children.
- Do not use the baby monitor near water or a heat source.
- Only use the power adapters provided.
- Do not touch the plug contacts with sharp or metal objects.
2. Getting Started
2.1 Baby unit power supply
1. Connect the small plug of the power adapter to the baby unit and the other end to the mains socket.
NOTE: Only use the power adapter provided.
2. The baby unit will work with the blue light on.
3. The camera/baby unit only works when it is connected to the power supply.
2.2 Parent unit power supply
Charging the parent unit fully before use is recommended. This will allow the unit to operate on battery in the event of a power failure.
1. Connect the plug of the power adapter to the parent unit and the other end to the mains socket.
NOTE: Only use the power adapter provided.
2. The charging LED will illuminate, indicating the start of charging the battery.
3. Push the power key to the ON side to turn on the parent unit.
3. Using The Baby Monitor
3.1 Setting up
Place the baby unit in a convenient location (e.g., on a table) and point the camera lens towards the area you want to monitor. Adjust the baby unit until you are satisfied with the image in the parent unit.
NOTE: Do not place the baby unit within the baby's reach! If there is interference on the picture or sound, try moving the units to different locations and ensure they are not close to other electrical equipment.
3.2 Pairing camera
The enclosed baby unit has already been registered. You do not need to register it again unless the baby unit loses its link with the parent unit. Refer to section "5.2 Camera Registration" for more details.
3.3 VOX Function
Pressing the VOX key will turn on VOX mode. The VOX mode automatically puts the display in sleep mode to save battery. It reactivates automatically when it detects noise in the baby's room.
3.4 Music player
Pressing the music key will turn on the music player and play a lullaby through the baby unit. Press the music key again to turn it off.
3.5 Talk function
Press and hold the PTT key on the parent unit to talk to your baby through the baby unit loudspeaker. A symbol will be displayed at the bottom of the screen.
3.6 Adjusting the volume
When the video is playing, press the Volume- key to decrease volume or the Volume+ key to increase volume. The display will show the current volume for 3 seconds.
4. Monitoring Screen Icons
The monitoring screen displays the following icons:
- 1. Signal Strength indicator [signal-strength-symbol]
- 2. Temperature of the baby's room [temperature-symbol]
- 3. Lullaby is playing [music-note-symbol]
- 4. Vox function activated [VOX-symbol]
- 5. Alarm activated [alarm-symbol]
- 6. Battery indicator [battery-symbol]
- 7. PTT function activated [PTT-symbol]
- 8. Date and time (HH: MM AM/PM DD/MM) [clock-symbol]
5. Menu Options
5.1 Main menu
Pressing the "OK/Menu" key on the monitoring screen will enter the main menu, which contains 6 items:
- Camera
- Alarm
- Settings
- VOX
- Languages
- System info
You can press the "Up" key or "Down" key to move the cursor to select an item, and press the "Menu" key to enter the selected sub-menu. Pressing the "Return" key will take you back to the monitoring screen.
5.2 Camera Registration
Press the "OK/Menu" key to enter the registering screen, then push the pair key on the back of the baby unit within 10 seconds.
The screen will show "Re-Register Camera?" with "Yes" and "No" options. After successful registration, it will display "Register Successful!".
5.3 Alarm
Press the "PTT" key to move the cursor and the "Up/Down" keys to change the value.
The alarm settings allow you to set alarm times, repeat options, and "Once" or "Repeat" modes.
5.4 Settings
5.4.1 Time and date
The menu includes two items: Set time/date and Set format.
You can set the time, date, date separator, and choose between 12-hour or 24-hour format. Options for Daylight saving are also available.
Press the "PTT" key to move the cursor and the "Up/Down" keys to change the value.
5.4.2 Temperature unit
Switch the unit to Celsius or Fahrenheit.
5.4.3 Anti-flicker
Adjust the frequency of 50/60 Hz to suit your lighting for anti-flicker.
5.4.4 LCD backlight
Adjust the brightness of the LCD and the LCD backlight active time in menu operation.
5.5 VOX
5.5.1 System mode
This menu allows you to choose the working mode: Normal mode/VOX mode.
5.5.2 VOX Sensitivity
Switch the VOX sensitivity between Low/Medium/High levels.
5.6 Language
The language setting menu allows you to choose your language from the following options:
- English
- French (Francais)
- Spanish (Espanol)
- Portuguese (Portugues)
- Italian (Italiano)
- German (Deutsch)
- Turkey (Turkce)
- Russian
5.7 System info
System information includes Project ID, Hardware version, software version, build date, etc.
