Charging the Earbuds
The earbuds' LED will flash red every 5 seconds to indicate low battery. ⚡️ [Battery Low]
To charge, plug the provided micro USB charging cable into the charging port ? [Micro USB Port] on the earbuds. Connect the other end to a 5V/500mA-2A rated USB adapter (e.g., your phone charger) or a PC USB port.
Solid red lights on the earbuds indicate that charging is in progress. Charging typically takes approximately 1.5 hours. Once the lights turn off, your earbuds will be at full battery.
Connecting the Earbuds to Your Device
STEP 1: Enter Pairing Mode
Turn on the earbuds. For first-time use, the earbuds will automatically enter PAIRING mode.
If pairing mode is not activated automatically, press and hold the PAIR button until the LED flashes red and blue alternately. This indicates the earbuds are ready to pair. [Hold for 3 seconds]
STEP 2: Select on Device
Turn on your device's Bluetooth and search for available devices. Select "Avantree Repose" from the Bluetooth menu. ? [Bluetooth On]
STEP 3: Connect
Keep the earbuds close to your device and wait for 5-10 seconds for them to connect. Once successfully connected, the earbuds' LED indicator will turn off, and you may hear a "Connected" confirmation.
For subsequent use, your earbuds should automatically reconnect to the last-paired device within a few seconds of being turned on. If automatic reconnection fails, you can manually activate it by tapping the PAIR button once or by selecting "Avantree Repose" in your device's Bluetooth menu.
NOTE: You may need to adjust the volume on both the earbuds and your phone to reach your desired listening levels.

What's the best way to take care of & maintain upkeep for my earbuds?
Regularly cleaning your earbuds before and after use not only protects them from potential damage but also helps eliminate sound muffling issues. Use dry cotton swabs or similar to gently wipe dust, earwax, and oil from the earbud tips on a regular basis to maintain upkeep.
Can I replace the earbud tips?
Unfortunately, no. The Repose is designed with smaller-than-average earbud tips optimized for sleeping comfort, so the tips are not replaceable. You can return your Repose within 60 days of purchase for a full refund if nothing has been damaged or broken. Please contact Avantree support at support@avantree.com to initiate this process. For alternative options, consider models NB18 & NB16.
Can I connect the earbuds to my TV?
You can technically connect your Repose directly to a smart TV via the TV's built-in Bluetooth. However, this may result in significant audio delays. For a no lip-sync delay experience using the Repose's FastStream codec, pair with a transmitter that also supports FastStream, such as the Avantree Orbit or Audikast.
