Note: If the pan motor's base is loose, use the included hex key to tighten the hex screw clockwise.
Fully charge the iSteady X3 SE+ before first use. Use the provided USB-C cable to connect to the Type-C charging port on the gimbal handle. A 5V-2A USB charger is recommended (not included).

1. Pull the arm as shown.
2. Stretch the phone clamp to fit your smartphone's width and attach it to the center of the phone.
3. Press and hold the power button to turn on/off.
Important Notes:
Ensure the gimbal is powered off before folding.
Remove the phone. Hold the handle, fold the arm downward, and secure the folding lock with the mounting hole.
The iSteady X3 SE+ offers two primary usage modes: Handheld Mode and Remote Mode.
Simply unfold the gimbal for convenient, on-the-go shooting.
Pull out the built-in extension rod upwards and adjust the hinge angle for preferred shooting positions. The extension rod has three segments and can extend up to 205mm. The hinge angle can be adjusted from 0° to 90°. It is recommended to retract the extension rod after use to prevent deformation.
Fully pull out the legs, unfold the gimbal, and stand it on a desktop. Remove the remote controller for long-distance shooting. Ensure Bluetooth is connected.
1. Ensure the gimbal is powered on.
2. Activate Bluetooth on your smartphone.
3. Open the Hohem Joy App and select the device named "SX3S-XXXXXX" from the list of available devices.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect and pair. A steady light on the Bluetooth indicator signifies a successful connection.
Note: When attached to the gimbal, the remote powers on and pairs automatically. If detached, power it on separately; it will auto-pair.

Scan the QR code or search "Hohem Joy" in the App Store or Google Play to download the app.

Auto calibration helps reduce drift or deviation caused by magnetic interference or human error.
1. Place the gimbal on a hard, flat surface after setup and power on.
2. Press the trigger button twice to recenter the gimbal.
3. Press the Power Button five times to enter auto calibration mode.
4. A single "beep" indicates successful calibration.
Note:
The Hohem Joy App will notify you if a new firmware update is available. Follow the on-screen instructions in the app to update.
