Assembly Steps
Important Assembly Note: The unit should be assembled by two or more people. Do not tighten any bolts until all bolts have been started.
(This note is also provided in Spanish and French.)
-
Step 1: Connect Part A to Part C using hardware J (x6).
Visual: Shows Part A being attached to Part C at a right angle, with screws (J) being inserted through pre-drilled holes on one panel into the edge of the other.
-
Step 2: Connect Part C to Part B using hardware K (x6).
Visual: Shows another panel (C) being attached to a side panel (B) at a right angle, using screws (K). A close-up shows screw K being driven into a pilot hole.
-
Step 3: Insert Part E (back panel) into the unit.
Visual: Shows a thin panel (E) being slid into grooves along the back edges of the assembled side and base panels.
-
Step 4: Attach Part B (top panel) to the assembly. Use hardware K (x4) and cam locks (H, x4).
Visual: Shows the top panel (B) being placed on top of the assembled sides and back. Cam locks (H) are shown being inserted into larger holes on the top panel and then turned to secure to studs on the side panels. Screws (K) are also shown being used.
-
Step 5: Install door hinges (F) onto the doors and the main unit. Attach the doors using the hinges.
Visual: Shows hinges (F) being screwed onto the edges of the doors and then attached to the front edges of the side panels.
-
Step 6: Insert shelf support pins (L) into the desired holes inside the cabinet. Place the shelf (D) onto the pins.
Visual: Shows small pins (L) being inserted into holes on the inside of the side panels at various heights. A shelf (D) is then shown being placed on top of these pins.
-
Step 9: Attach the foot leveler (M) to the bottom of the unit.
Visual: Shows a foot leveler (M) being screwed into the bottom of one of the base panels. A separate diagram shows how to adjust the leveler to make the unit stable on an uneven floor.
Final Installation Note: If the unit is placed on an unlevel surface, place a leveler underneath one foot until the unit is level. Break off any protruding segments.
