Safety Information
Before using the appliance, read these safety instructions and keep them nearby for future reference. The manufacturer declines any liability for failure to observe these instructions, for inappropriate use, or incorrect setting of controls.
General Safety:
- Keep children (0-3 years) away from the appliance. Young children (3-8 years) should be supervised.
- Children from 8 years old and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, can use this appliance if supervised or instructed on safe use and understand the hazards.
- Children must not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.
Warnings:
- If the door or door seals are damaged, do not operate until repaired (risk of injury).
- Do not heat liquids in sealed containers; heating can cause delayed eruptive boiling (risk of burn).
- Do not use for drying food or clothing, or heating warming pads, slippers, sponges, etc. (risk of fire).
- Be vigilant when heating food in plastic or paper containers (risk of fire).
- Stir or shake the contents of feeding bottles and baby food jars and check temperature (risk of burn).
- Do not heat eggs in their shells or whole hard-boiled eggs (risk of explosion).
- Only use microwave-safe utensils. Do not use metallic containers (risk of injury).
- Only use a recommended temperature probe (risk of fire).
- If smoke is emitted, switch off or unplug the appliance and keep the door closed to stifle flames.
- If installed 850 mm or more above the floor, be careful not to displace the turntable when removing containers (risk of injury).
- Do not use for deep-frying as oil temperature cannot be controlled.
- Metallic containers are not suitable for microwave cooking.
- Do not remove microwave inlet protection plates (certain models only) as they prevent grease and food particles from entering the inlet channels.
Permitted Use:
- The appliance is not intended for operation by external switching devices (timers, remote controls).
- Intended for household and similar applications (staff kitchens, offices, farm houses, hotels, motels, bed & breakfast, residential environments).
- Not for professional use or outdoor use.
Product Description
The appliance includes a control panel, cavity lamp, and a door.
Accessories:
- Turntable support: Use under the Glass turntable. Do not place other utensils on it.
- Glass turntable: Collects drippings and food particles. Place on the turntable support.
- Steamer: Use with strainer for vegetables and fish. Always place on the Glass Turntable.
Control Panel
The control panel includes:
- 1 Stop button
- 2 Power button
- 3 Memo button
- 4 Steam button
- 5 +/- buttons (for setting time or weight)
- 6 Jet Defrost button
- 7 Start button
- 8 Door button (to open the door)
Daily Use
Start Protection / Key Lock
An automatic safety function activates one minute after the oven returns to standby mode. The door must be opened and closed (e.g., when putting food in) to release the safety lock. Otherwise, the display will show "DOOR".
To pause or stop cooking
- To pause: Open the door. The setting is maintained for 10 minutes.
- To continue: Close the door and press the Start button ONCE.
- Pressing the Start button TWICE adds 30 seconds.
- To stop: Remove food, close the door, and press the Stop button.
A beep signals for 10 minutes after cooking finishes. Press Stop or open the door to cancel.
Note: Settings are held for 60 seconds if the door is opened and closed after cooking.
Cooling down
After a function finishes, the oven performs a cooling procedure and then switches off automatically.
Kitchen timer
Use this for timing various purposes like cooking eggs or dough rising.
- Press +/- buttons to set the desired time.
- Press the Power button repeatedly to set power to 0 W.
- Press the Start button.
An acoustic signal sounds when the timer finishes.
Clock
Set the clock with the door open. You have 5 minutes to complete the setting, otherwise each step must be done within 60 seconds.
- Press the Stop button (3 seconds) until the hour digits flash.
- Use +/- buttons to set the hours.
- Press the Start button.
- Use +/- buttons to set the minutes.
- Press the Start button again.
The clock is now set and operating. If the clock is not set, the display remains blank until cooking time is set. To remove the clock display, press and hold the Stop button for 3 seconds, then press Stop again.
Cook and reheat with microwaves
Use for normal cooking and reheating of vegetables, fish, potatoes, and meat.
- Press +/- buttons to set the time.
- Press the Power button repeatedly to set the power.
- Press the Start button.
After starting, you can increase time by 30-second steps using the Start button or adjust with +/- buttons. Power level can also be changed.
Power level (Microwaves only):
- 750 W: Reheating beverages, water, soups, coffee, tea. Use lower power for food with egg or cream. Cooking fish, vegetables, meat.
- 500 W: More careful cooking, high protein sauces, cheese, egg dishes, finishing casseroles.
- 350 W: Simmering stews, melting butter.
- 160 W: Defrosting, softening butter, cheeses, ice cream.
- 0 W: For Timer use only.
Jet start
For quick reheating of foods with high water content (soups, coffee, tea). Press to start with full microwave power for 30 seconds. Each additional press adds 30 seconds. Time can also be altered with +/- buttons.
Manual defrost
Follow "Cook and reheat with microwaves" procedure, selecting 160 W power. Check food regularly. Frozen food in plastic bags, films, or cardboard packages can be placed directly in the oven if they have no metal parts. Package shape affects defrosting time. Shallow packets defrost faster than deep blocks. Separate pieces as they begin to defrost. Shield warm parts with foil. Turn large joints halfway. Stir boiled food, stews, and sauces.
Jet defrost
For defrosting Meat, Fish & Poultry ONLY. Use for net weight between 100-2Kg.
- Press the Jet Defrost button.
- Press +/- buttons to set the food weight.
- Press the Start button.
The oven stops midway to prompt you to TURN FOOD. Open the door, turn the food, close the door, and restart with the Start button. If food is not turned, the oven continues automatically after 2 minutes, and defrosting time will be longer.
Note: If food is warmer than deep-freeze temperature (-18°C), choose lower weight. If colder, choose higher weight.
Memory
Store preferred settings for quick recall.
- Select function, make settings.
- Press and hold the Memo button for 3 seconds until an acoustic signal.
The default stored setting is -1 minute and 750 W.
Steam
Use for vegetables & fish. Always use the supplied Steamer.
- Press the Steam button.
- Repeatedly press Steam to set food class.
- Press +/- buttons to set food weight.
- Press the Start button.
Place food on the steam grid. Add 100 ml water to the bottom of the steamer. Cover with the lid.
Warning: The Steamer is designed for microwave use only. Always ensure the turntable turns freely before starting.
Cooking vegetables
Place vegetables in the strainer. Pour 100 ml water into the bottom part. Cover with lid and set time. Soft vegetables (broccoli, leek) need 2-3 minutes. Harder vegetables (carrots, potatoes) need 4-5 minutes.
- Potatoes / Root vegetables (150 g - 200 g): Use even sizes. Cut into even pieces. Allow to stand for 1-2 minutes after cooking.
- Vegetables (Cauliflower and Broccoli) (150 g - 500 g): Allow to stand for 1-2 minutes after cooking.
- Frozen vegetables (150 g - 500 g): Allow to stand for 1-2 minutes after cooking.
- Fish fillets (150 g - 500 g): Distribute fillets evenly on the steam grid. Interlace thin parts. Allow to stand for 1-2 minutes after cooking.
Warnings: Appliance and parts become hot. Avoid touching heating elements. Keep young children away. Do not touch heating elements or interior surfaces during or after use (risk of burns). Do not allow contact with flammable materials until cooled. Do not heat or cook with sealed jars or containers (risk of explosion). In combination mode, children should only use the appliance under adult supervision. Overheating liquid can cause sudden boil-over. To prevent this: avoid straight-sided containers with narrow necks, stir liquid before placing in appliance and leave teaspoon in container, allow to stand briefly after heating, and stir again before removing.

Installation
Mounting the appliance
Follow separate mounting instructions. Keep children away during installation. Use protective gloves. Appliance must be handled and installed by two or more persons. Disconnect from power supply before installation.
Electrical connection
Prior to connecting
- Check voltage on rating plate matches your home voltage.
- Do not remove microwave inlet protection plates.
- Ensure oven cavity is empty and appliance is not damaged.
- Check oven door closes firmly and internal seal is intact. Clean interior with a soft, damp cloth.
- Do not operate if mains cord or plug is damaged, or if appliance is not working properly. Do not immerse cord or plug in water. Keep cord away from hot surfaces.
After connecting
- Oven operates only if the door is firmly closed.
- Appliance must be earthed. Manufacturer accepts no responsibility for injury or damage due to non-observance.
- Failure to observe instructions may lead to risks.
After unpacking, ensure appliance is not damaged during transport. Contact dealer if problems occur. Ensure appliance door closes properly. Contact dealer if problems occur. Remove oven from base only at time of installation.
During installation, ensure appliance does not damage the power cable.
Caution: Not intended for operation by external timer or remote control system. Electrical components must not be accessible after installation.
For safety regulations, an omnipolar switch with a minimum 3mm contact gap is required.
Warning: Power cable must be long enough to connect the appliance to the main power supply. Do not pull the cable. If damaged, it must be replaced with an identical one by a qualified technician. Contact an authorized service center.
Do not operate with damaged cord or plug, or if not working properly. Do not immerse cord or plug in water. Keep cord away from hot surfaces.
Do not touch appliance with wet body parts or when barefoot. For appliances with fitted plug, contact a qualified technician if plug is unsuitable for your socket. Do not use extension leads, multiple sockets, or adapters. Do not connect to sockets operated by remote control.

- Warning: Service or repair involving cover removal should only be done by competent persons to prevent exposure to microwave energy.
- Warning: Failure to maintain a clean oven can lead to surface deterioration, affecting appliance life and potentially causing a hazardous situation.

- Warning: Do not use harsh cleaners or metal scrapers on door glass as they can scratch the surface, potentially causing shattering.

Disposal of Packaging Materials
Packaging is 100% recyclable. Dispose of responsibly according to local regulations.
Scrapping of Household Appliances
Manufactured with recyclable materials. Dispose of in accordance with local waste disposal regulations. Contact local authority or store for information on treatment, recovery, and recycling. Energy Saving Tips
- Preheat oven only if specified in cooking table or recipe.
- Use dark lacquered or enamelled baking trays as they absorb heat better.
- Food requiring prolonged cooking will continue to cook even after the oven is switched off.
IKEA Guarantee
How long is the IKEA guarantee valid?
Five years from the original date of purchase. Original sales receipt is required. Service work under guarantee does not extend the guarantee period.
Who will execute the service?
IKEA service provider or authorized service partner network.
What does this guarantee cover?
Covers faults due to faulty construction or material from the date of purchase for domestic use only. Exclusions are detailed in the "What is not covered" section. Costs for repairs, parts, labour, and travel are covered provided the appliance is accessible without special expenditure, subject to EU guidelines and local regulations. Replaced parts become IKEA property.
What will IKEA do to correct the problem?
IKEA Service Provider will examine the product and, at its discretion, repair or replace it with the same or a comparable product if covered under guarantee.
What is not covered under this guarantee?
- Normal wear and tear.
- Deliberate or negligent damage, damage from failure to observe instructions, incorrect installation, wrong voltage, chemical/electrochemical reactions, rust, corrosion, water damage (including lime scale), abnormal environmental conditions.
- Consumable parts (batteries, lamps).
- Non-functional and decorative parts (scratches, color differences) that do not affect normal use.
- Accidental damage from foreign objects, cleaning/unblocking of filters, drainage systems, soap drawers.
- Damage to: ceramic glass, accessories, baskets, pipes, seals, lamps, screens, knobs, casings, unless caused by production faults.
- Cases where no fault is found during a technician's visit.
- Repairs not performed by IKEA providers or using non-original parts.
- Repairs caused by faulty installation.
- Use in non-domestic (professional) environments.
- Transportation damages (if customer transports the product). IKEA is not liable for damage during transport. IKEA covers damage during delivery if IKEA delivers the product.
- Cost of initial installation. (However, IKEA provider may reinstall if repairs are done).

Note for GB: Restrictions do not apply to fault-free work by a qualified specialist using original parts to adapt the appliance to another EU country's safety specifications.
How country law applies
The IKEA guarantee provides specific legal rights that may cover or exceed local demands. These conditions do not limit consumer rights.
Area of validity
For appliances purchased in one EU country and moved to another, services will be provided under the guarantee conditions of the new country, provided the appliance complies with and is installed according to the technical specifications and assembly instructions of that country.
