The Furuno FCV-2100-MARK-2 offers advanced fish finding capabilities, featuring TruEcho CHIRP™ and Split Beam technology for enhanced target resolution and accurate fish size detection, even in challenging conditions like densely packed schools or near the seabed.
Key Features
By combining Split Beam technology with FURUNO's TruEcho CHIRP™, higher-resolution target images and accurate fish size detection are achieved, even in situations requiring high distance resolution. This is beneficial for detecting fish size in densely packed schools or discriminating single fish near the seabed.
Fish Distribution Display
The fish distribution display shows the position and movement of fish targets from the last three scans. The color of the circular indicator represents the strength of individual fish echoes, aiding in tracking schools.
The display can show vertical and horizontal target graphs, providing detailed visual information about fish echoes.
Accurate Fish Size Measurement
The FCV-2100-MARK-2 measures and displays fish size and distribution within a selected school in an easy-to-understand graph format. TruEcho CHIRP™ technology enhances the accuracy and reliability of these measurements.

Simultaneous Multi-Area Analysis
The unit can measure and display fish sizes in three different locations simultaneously. This capability allows for comparative analysis of fish size and school composition, leading to more efficient fishing, such as targeting fish of a specific size.
Intuitive Operation and Data Management
InstantAccess Bar™ and Trackball Control
Operation is made easy and quick with the integrated trackball. The screen header provides immediate access to key functions like Range, Shift, Sensitivity, Image Feed, and Display Mode. Additional functions can be customized and accessed via the InstantAccess bar™ (up to 10 functions).
Echo Data Recording and Playback
The processor unit can save up to 99 still images. External recording media can store a larger number of images, depending on capacity. Echo data can also be saved to external media with capacities of 500 GB or more.
The system includes icons for recording (⏺️), pausing (⏸️), playing back (▶️), and stopping (⏹️) echo data.
Enhanced Fishing Efficiency
Scroll-Back Mode
The convenient scroll-back mode allows users to review past images, which is useful for observing fish schools that have already passed.
Selective Fishing
By identifying the approximate size of targeted fish beforehand, the FCV-2100-MARK-2 facilitates selective fishing, thereby increasing operational efficiency.
Connectivity and Advanced Features
The FCV-2100-MARK-2 can connect to High-Power DFF3-UHD Network Fish Finders for extended depth capabilities. It supports displaying up to three echo images at different frequencies on a single screen, aiding in species identification.
A stable searching capability is provided through the heave correction function, which ensures an unwavering presentation of the seabed, unaffected by sea conditions. This feature requires connection to a Satellite Compass™.
Interconnection Diagram Overview
The system's interconnection diagram shows how components like the Processor Unit (FCV-2101-MK2), Trackball Control Unit (RCU-026), Monitor, and Transceiver Unit (FCV-2102-MK2) are connected via USB, LAN, and NMEA0183 interfaces. External devices such as a Network Fish Finder (DFF3-UHD) and Satellite Compass™ can also be integrated. Power is supplied via units like the Rectifier Unit (PR-62) or AC/DC Power Supply Unit (PR-241).
