Model Overview
The Charge Amps Halo features the following key components:
- A: Centre light - The main status indicator light.
- B: Ring light - An additional light indicator, often around the central button.
- C: Socket-outlet - A power outlet, available on some models.
- D: EV connector - The charging cable and plug for the electric vehicle.
- E: EV connector holder - A designated place to store the EV connector when not in use.
Important Safety Precautions
Read all instructions before use. Improper use may create a risk of personal injury. The product must only be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the Installation Manual. National installation requirements and restrictions apply. Only use this product for charging compatible electric vehicles. Inspect the product for visible damage before use. Never attempt to repair or use the product if it is damaged. Do not immerse the product in water, subject it to physical abuse, or insert foreign objects into any part of the product. Always store the EV connector in the holder when not in use. Never use an adapter between the EV connector and the electric vehicle. Never attempt to disassemble the product in any way.
Neglecting these instructions may void warranty provisions and absolve Charge Amps AB from liability for injuries or damages.
Starting and Stopping Charging
Start Charging
Connect the EV connector to the car. If RFID is activated, refer to the User Manual for specific instructions.
Stop Charging
Disconnect the EV connector from the car.
Status Indicators
The Charge Amps Halo uses lights to indicate its status:
