- Select a suitable location for the device, taking into account all warnings in this manual.
- Check that the control switch is set to 'OFF' (O).
- Fully extend the power cord and plug into a suitable 220-240 V socket. To prevent circuit overloading, check that no other appliances are connected to the same group.

Safety Features
Tipping Safeguard
The heater is equipped with a tipping safeguard that automatically shuts off the appliance if it falls over. When returned to its upright position, it will resume functioning. However, before reusing, switch off, unplug, and check for damage. Do not use if damaged or malfunctioning; have it inspected/repaired.
Overheating Safeguard
The overheating safeguard switches the heater off if it becomes too hot internally. This can happen if the heater cannot dissipate heat adequately or cannot draw in enough fresh air. Common causes include partial covering of the heater, blocked air intake/outlet grills, or placement too close to a wall. If the overheating safeguard activates, set the mode selector dial to 'OFF', remove the plug, and allow the heater to cool. Remove or amend the cause of overheating before resuming normal use. If the cause cannot be found or the problem recurs, stop using the heater and have it inspected/repaired.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- Keep the heater clean. Dust and dirt deposits are a common cause of overheating and should be removed regularly. Switch off the heater, unplug it, and let it cool before cleaning or maintenance.
- Wipe the exterior regularly with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use harsh soaps, sprays, cleaners, abrasives, waxes, polishes, or chemical solutions.
- Use a vacuum cleaner to carefully remove dust and dirt from the grills and ensure air intake and outlet openings are clean. Be careful not to touch or damage internal parts during cleaning.
- The heater contains no other parts requiring maintenance.
- At the end of the season, store the cleaned heater, preferably in its original packaging, upright in a cool, dry, and dust-free place.
Disposal
At the end of its life, dispose of the device according to local laws and regulations, or return it to your supplier.
