Appearance
The Fort Smart Security Hub (ECSPHB) features the following:

HUB LED Indications
- Red Flashing/Fixed: System Armed
- Blue Flashing/fixed: System armed in home mode
- Green Flashing/fixed: System disarmed
- Red/Blue/Green fixed: Connected to the server
- Red/Blue/Green Blink Slowly: Wi-Fi network disconnected
- Green Blink Fast: Wi-Fi network settings EZ mode
- Blue Blink Fast: Wi-Fi network settings AP mode
- White fixed: RF connection mode
Preparation
- Download the "ClickSmart+" app from the app store.
- Register using a mobile number or email address.
- Log into the created account.
The ClickSmart+ app is for use with ClickSmart+ products only, compatible with products displaying a plus icon.
Installation
There are two ways to connect the ECSPHB to the ClickSmart+ App: EZ Mode and AP Mode. AP mode is for use if EZ Mode has failed.
EZ Mode
- Step 1: Ensure the system is disarmed before this operation. Firstly, press and hold the "connection button" for 5 seconds. You should hear a single beep, and the green LED should start flashing rapidly. Your alarm is now in EZ Connection mode.
- Step 2: On the "ClickSmart+" App, press Add "+", "ESP", "Smart Alarm Hub with Backup Battery".
- Step 3: Enter the Wi-Fi password of the router to which the Hub will be connected.
- Step 4: Set the alarm name to finalize the device.
AP Mode
- Step 1: Turn off the Hub before this operation. Press and hold the "Connection" button, and then turn on the device, until 1 beep is heard and the Blue LED is flashing. Your Hub is now in AP Connection Mode.
- Step 2: On the "ClickSmart+" App, press Add "+", "ESP", "Smart Alarm Hub with Backup Battery".
- Step 3: Choose "AP Mode".
- Step 4: Enter the Wi-Fi password of the router to which the Hub will be connected.
- Step 5: In the phone's Wi-Fi settings, choose "SmartLife_xxxx" and connect. Once connected, return to the "ClickSmart+" app.
- Step 6: Set the alarm name to finalize the device.
App Operation
Device List Interface
Displays the current weather conditions and all connected devices.
Operations Interface
Allows control of the alarm system, including states like Disarmed, Home Mode, Arm, and Disarmed.
Settings Interface
Provides access to common settings, GSM status, sounds, siren options, automated arm/disarm, delay times, access codes, language, and reset options. It also displays model information (ECSPHB), FC UID, IMEI, and Firmware Version.
Accessories Interface
Manage connected accessories such as detectors (Zone-01, Zone-02), remote controls, and RFID tags. Allows adding new accessories.
Daily Use
Arm the system
When the system is armed, all detectors are active.
- By App: Connect to your alarm and click on "Arm".
- By Remote Control: Press the "Arm" button on the remote control.
- By SMS: Send "1" to the phone number of the SIM card in the control panel.
Arm in Home Mode
When the system is armed in Home Mode, all detectors are inactive, except those assigned to the Home Zone.
- By App: Connect to your alarm and click on "Home mode".
- By remote control: Press the "Home" button on the remote control.
- By SMS: Send "2" to the phone number of the SIM Card in the control panel.
Disarm the System
When the system is Disarmed, all detectors are inactive except those assigned to the 24H zone.
- By App: Connect to your alarm and click on "Disarm".
- By Remote Control: Press the "Disarm" button on the remote control.
- By SMS: Send "0" to the phone number of the SIM Card in the control panel.
SOS Function
The SOS function enables you to trigger your alarm immediately.
- By remote control: Press the "SOS" button on the remote control.
Note: Only stored numbers can send SMS to control the system.
Control by SMS
You need a (full size) SIM card to interact with your alarm system by SMS and phone calls.
How it works
- Send a code by SMS.
- The control panel replies with the current settings saved in your alarm.
- Copy the SMS and paste it as a reply to the control panel.
- Modify the SMS according to the desired settings before sending it back.
- The control panel will reply with "OK" as confirmation.

Note: Only stored numbers can send the SMS to control the system.
Important:
- Ensure the SIM card is not protected by a PIN code.
- Insert the SIM card when your alarm is turned off.
- Use a plan with unlimited text and 60+ minutes of calls.
- The SIM card must be compatible with the GSM network.
- Contact your carrier for more information.
Control by Phone Call
This function applies when using the alarm with a SIM card and controls the alarm system via phone calls, useful in areas with poor Wi-Fi and/or 3G/4G coverage.
How it Works
- Call the phone number of the SIM card in the ECSPHB.
- The ECSPHB will answer; type your 4-digit passcode followed by "#". (Default passcode is 1234, changeable via the app).
- A voice prompt confirms if your code is correct.
- Dial the code corresponding to the command on your phone:

If your alarm is triggered
When the alarm is triggered, the control panel will immediately inform you:
- At home: The built-in siren starts ringing. Additional connected sirens also ring.
- On your smartphone (with a SIM card): The control panel sends an SMS notification to every saved SMS number and calls every saved phone number. If you answer, you can stop the siren, disarm the system, or perform other functions by dialing the corresponding code.
Enabling Keypress Audible Indication
You receive a push notification in the Maxsmart home app (requires an internet connection on your smartphone).
Connect wireless accessories
VIA the ECSPHB
- When the system is in disarm mode, press the connection button once. You will hear 1 beep, and the LED will illuminate white, indicating connection mode.
- Trigger the accessory to be connected. You will hear one beep if the accessory is registered. Two beeps indicate the device is already registered.
VIA the app
- Connect to the alarm, choose the wireless accessory, and click "+ ADD".
- Trigger the accessory to be connected. You will hear one beep if the accessory is registered. Two beeps indicate the device is already registered.
Restore Default settings
Turn the control panel on. Press the connection button 5 times within 5 seconds of turning it on. The hub will be restored to factory settings. System settings and all connected accessories will be reset.
Connect with an additional Wireless Siren
The security system supports additional wireless indoor and/or outdoor sirens.
- Set the siren to connection mode: Short press the connection button on the siren. The LED will illuminate; the siren is in connection mode for 20 seconds.
- Trigger the control panel: Press any Arm/Home Mode/SOS button on the control panel, or Arm/Disarm the control panel via the APP.
- Connection successful: You will hear short beeps from the siren, indicating successful pairing with the control panel.
Note: Do not trigger any sensor(s) when connecting the siren with the control panel.
General
Products are designed to comply with recommended codes and practice, and should be installed and serviced by competent persons in accordance with relevant regulations.
Guidance
- Smart alarm accessories have a maximum range of 80 meters line of sight in open air. Signal strength is reduced by obstacles. Certain models may vary.
- Battery life depends on working and environmental factors.
