Appearance

The Fort Smart Security Hub (ECSPHB) features the following:

HUB LED Indications

Preparation

  1. Download the "ClickSmart+" app from the app store.
  2. Register using a mobile number or email address.
  3. Log into the created account.

The ClickSmart+ app is for use with ClickSmart+ products only, compatible with products displaying a plus icon.

Installation

There are two ways to connect the ECSPHB to the ClickSmart+ App: EZ Mode and AP Mode. AP mode is for use if EZ Mode has failed.

EZ Mode

  1. Step 1: Ensure the system is disarmed before this operation. Firstly, press and hold the "connection button" for 5 seconds. You should hear a single beep, and the green LED should start flashing rapidly. Your alarm is now in EZ Connection mode.
  2. Step 2: On the "ClickSmart+" App, press Add "+", "ESP", "Smart Alarm Hub with Backup Battery".
  3. Step 3: Enter the Wi-Fi password of the router to which the Hub will be connected.
  4. Step 4: Set the alarm name to finalize the device.

AP Mode

  1. Step 1: Turn off the Hub before this operation. Press and hold the "Connection" button, and then turn on the device, until 1 beep is heard and the Blue LED is flashing. Your Hub is now in AP Connection Mode.
  2. Step 2: On the "ClickSmart+" App, press Add "+", "ESP", "Smart Alarm Hub with Backup Battery".
  3. Step 3: Choose "AP Mode".
  4. Step 4: Enter the Wi-Fi password of the router to which the Hub will be connected.
  5. Step 5: In the phone's Wi-Fi settings, choose "SmartLife_xxxx" and connect. Once connected, return to the "ClickSmart+" app.
  6. Step 6: Set the alarm name to finalize the device.

App Operation

Device List Interface

Displays the current weather conditions and all connected devices.

Operations Interface

Allows control of the alarm system, including states like Disarmed, Home Mode, Arm, and Disarmed.

Settings Interface

Provides access to common settings, GSM status, sounds, siren options, automated arm/disarm, delay times, access codes, language, and reset options. It also displays model information (ECSPHB), FC UID, IMEI, and Firmware Version.

Accessories Interface

Manage connected accessories such as detectors (Zone-01, Zone-02), remote controls, and RFID tags. Allows adding new accessories.

Daily Use

Arm the system

When the system is armed, all detectors are active.

Arm in Home Mode

When the system is armed in Home Mode, all detectors are inactive, except those assigned to the Home Zone.

Disarm the System

When the system is Disarmed, all detectors are inactive except those assigned to the 24H zone.

SOS Function

The SOS function enables you to trigger your alarm immediately.

Note: Only stored numbers can send SMS to control the system.

Control by SMS

You need a (full size) SIM card to interact with your alarm system by SMS and phone calls.

How it works

  1. Send a code by SMS.
  2. The control panel replies with the current settings saved in your alarm.
  3. Copy the SMS and paste it as a reply to the control panel.
  4. Modify the SMS according to the desired settings before sending it back.
  5. The control panel will reply with "OK" as confirmation.

Note: Only stored numbers can send the SMS to control the system.

Important:

Control by Phone Call

This function applies when using the alarm with a SIM card and controls the alarm system via phone calls, useful in areas with poor Wi-Fi and/or 3G/4G coverage.

How it Works

  1. Call the phone number of the SIM card in the ECSPHB.
  2. The ECSPHB will answer; type your 4-digit passcode followed by "#". (Default passcode is 1234, changeable via the app).
  3. A voice prompt confirms if your code is correct.
  4. Dial the code corresponding to the command on your phone:

- Stops monitoring without hanging up

6 Turns the siren off
9 Turns the siren on
# Disarms the system, turns the siren off and ends the phone call

If your alarm is triggered

When the alarm is triggered, the control panel will immediately inform you:

Enabling Keypress Audible Indication

You receive a push notification in the Maxsmart home app (requires an internet connection on your smartphone).

Restore Default settings

Turn the control panel on. Press the connection button 5 times within 5 seconds of turning it on. The hub will be restored to factory settings. System settings and all connected accessories will be reset.

Connect with an additional Wireless Siren

The security system supports additional wireless indoor and/or outdoor sirens.

Note: Do not trigger any sensor(s) when connecting the siren with the control panel.
