Preparation For Use
Ensure that your smartphone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network that you intend to attach the device to.
You will need a mobile device running iOS 8 or higher, or Android 4.1x or higher, and a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection.

App Download and Setup
Download the ClickSmart+ App on your mobile device from the App Store or Google Play.
Sign in or Register following the instructions within the ClickSmart+ App.
Product Components
Doorbell Unit
Front View: Features a camera lens, microphone, PIR (Passive Infrared) motion sensor, and a call button.
Rear/Side View: Includes a removable cover that conceals the battery compartment and the Micro SD card slot.
Rubber Cover Details: Located beneath the main cover, this section houses the Micro-USB port for charging, a charging indicator LED, and a reset button.
Audio/Control Elements: The unit also has a speaker for audio output and controls for volume and ring tone selection.
Installation
- Open the rear cover to insert batteries and the Micro SD Card.
- Mount the mounting backplate onto the wall, using the 4 pre-drilled holes to secure it to the desired surface.
- Push the Doorbell unit down onto the backplate, and secure it with the provided fixing screw.
Indoor Chime Unit Operation
The chime unit comes pre-paired with the video doorbell. If it does not sound when expected, please refer to the following:
- Press the "ring" button to cycle through and choose your desired ringtone. The indoor chime offers 36 different ringtones; each press changes the current ringtone.
- To adjust the volume, press the "volume" button once. There are 4 different volume levels, from Low to High.
- To adjust volume further, press and hold the "volume" button for 5 seconds until the music changes, then press the button again to select the desired level.
- To pair the chime with the doorbell: Press the doorbell button, then press the call button of the indoor chime. You can now press the call button of the doorbell and listen for the chime.
- To change the ringtone, please refer to the above pairing instructions.
APP Pairing
- Power up the device via the 5V Micro USB Cable and ensure it is fully charged.
- Once powered up, the LED on the front should be flashing blue, and a voice prompt should state, "the camera is now ready to begin pairing."
The ClickSmart+ app will guide you through the following steps:
- Entering your Wi-Fi Network Name and Password.
- Using the camera to scan a QR code.
- Connecting the Device.
(App screens illustrate options like 'Add Manually', 'Auto Scan', 'Net Pairing Mode', and various device types.)
Resetting the Device
If the camera needs to be reset, connected to a new Wi-Fi network, or paired with a new master account, you must first remove the device from the app before resetting.
- Using the reset key, long-press the reset button until you hear "system reset."
- After approximately 30 seconds, the device should reset. The unit will start to flash blue and announce, "the system is now ready to begin pairing."
(App screens show 'Internal Camera' and 'Smart Camera' settings, including options like 'Device Name', 'Share Device', 'Device Information', 'Basic Function Settings', and 'Motion Detection'.)
Guidance Notes
- Charging Time: 8-12 hours are required for full battery capacity.
- Network Speed: The unit requires a minimum of 2 Mbps (upload/download).
- Wi-Fi Band: This unit operates exclusively on 2.4GHz networks.
- Wi-Fi Signal Strength: If your Wi-Fi router signal is weak, consider changing the router/camera relative position for a better signal, or use a Wi-Fi repeater/extender to maximize the range.
- New Network: If the device is installed on a new network, it will require resetting.
- New Account: If the camera needs to be added to a new account, unbind the device from the previous account prior to resetting it.
