Remote Overview

The Samsung Smart TV Remote is designed for intuitive control of your television. It features various buttons for navigation, volume, channel selection, and special functions.

Key Buttons and Functions:

• Power: Turns the TV on or off.
• Voice recognition: Press and hold to activate voice commands.
• Number Key (123): Accesses number input for channels or other functions.
• Select: Confirms selections.
• Return: Goes back to the previous screen.
• Direction Key (up/down/left/right): Navigates menus and options.
• VOL (Volume): Adjusts the volume by moving the button up or down. Pressing the button mutes the sound. Holding it for 1 second or more activates Accessibility Shortcuts.
• CH (Channel): Changes channels by moving the button up or down. Pressing the button displays the Guide screen.
• Special function buttons: These buttons provide quick access to specific features or channels.

Pairing the TV to the Smart Remote

Pairing Method:

1. Turn on the TV.
2. Press and hold the Return and Voice recognition buttons simultaneously.
3. After 3 seconds, the indicator light on the remote will flash, and the pairing screen will appear on the TV.
4. Once pairing is complete, the success screen will be displayed, the indicator light will turn off, and the remote will be ready for use.

Automatic Pairing:

When the TV is turned on for the first time, the Smart Remote pairs automatically. If automatic pairing fails, point the remote at the TV's sensor and press and hold the Return and Voice recognition buttons for 3 seconds or more.

Voice Function

To use voice commands, press and hold the Voice recognition button. The TV will display the voice command screen. Speak your command, and then release the button. The TV will then execute the command.

This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
