Remote Control Overview
This manual describes the functions of the BN59-01266A remote control. The remote features various buttons for controlling your TV and smart hub features.
Key Buttons and Functions:
- Power: [Power Symbol] Turns the device on or off.
- Voice Window: Location for voice input.
- Voice Interaction: [Microphone Symbol] Activates voice commands.
- Color/Number button (123): Pressing this button cycles through different displays: colored buttons, and the virtual numeric pad.
- EXTRA: [Dots Symbol] Information button.
- Select: [Center Circle] Used to select items and confirm actions.
- Directional Pad (Up/Down/Left/Right): Navigates menus and options.
- Return: [Curved Arrow Left] Returns to the previous screen or menu.
- Smart Hub: [House Symbol] Accesses the smart hub features.
- Play/Pause: [Play/Pause Symbol] Controls media playback.
- VOL (Volume) +/-: Move the button up or down to adjust the volume. Pressing the center area mutes the sound.
- CH (Channel) +/-: Move the button up or down to change the channel. This function is only valid for live TV.
Pairing the TV to the Smart Remote
When you turn on the TV for the first time:
- Point the remote control at the TV's sensor.
- Press and hold the Return [Curved Arrow Left] and Play/Pause [Play/Pause Symbol] buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds or more.
