Charging and Audio Features
Charging the Battery
Unplug the charger when the phone is not in use. Avoid leaving a fully charged phone connected to the charger, as this can shorten battery life. A fully charged battery may lose charge over time if unused. If the battery is completely discharged, it may take 10-15 minutes after plugging in the charger for charging to begin. Use the battery only for its intended purpose and only with Bmobile-approved chargers and batteries. Battery operation time can vary based on usage mode, network signal strength, and talk time.
Audio Player
Songs stored on the memory card will be accessible via the audio player. Ensure songs are saved in the "My Music" folder and check that the memory card is set as the default storage location.
Phone Settings and Features
Battery Saver
To extend standby time, activate the Battery Saver mode via the menu. This feature reduces ringtone volume, screen brightness, and turns off the torch.
Volume Control
Volume can be adjusted during calls, while listening to music, or watching videos by pressing the up and down navigation keys.
Restore Factory Settings
The phone can be reset to its default factory settings. A phone password is required for this operation, with "1234" being the default.
Security Settings
The security settings allow you to enable a phone lock function. The default passcode is "1234", which can be changed by the user. After setting the phone lock, restarting the phone will activate it. Users have three attempts to enter the correct passcode; failure to do so after three attempts will result in the phone powering off.
Privacy and Services
Privacy
Accessing functions such as Contacts, Call logs, Messages, File manager, Camera, My files, Calendar, U Disk, Audio player, and Video player may require entering a password for each function. The main menu interface can also be set to require a security code for entry.
Services
To access services, navigate to the Main Menu from standby mode and select "Internet". This allows access to network-related services.
FCC Compliance and RF Exposure Information
Labeling Requirements
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to two conditions: (1) it must not cause harmful interference, and (2) it must accept any received interference, including that which may cause undesired operation.
Information to User
Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
Information to the User (Class B Digital Device)
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, as per FCC Rules. These limits are intended to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in residential installations. The device generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy. Improper installation or use may cause harmful interference to radio communications. While no guarantee against interference in a specific installation exists, users experiencing reception issues (radio or television) are encouraged to try the following:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment to a different circuit than the receiver.
- Consult a dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician.
Absorption Rate (SAR) Information
This mobile phone meets government requirements for radio wave exposure. The guidelines are based on scientific studies and include a substantial safety margin. The FCC SAR limit for the USA is 1.6 W/kg averaged over one gram of tissue. The device was tested for typical body-worn operations with the handset kept 1.0 cm from the body. To maintain compliance with FCC RF exposure requirements, use accessories that ensure a 1.0 cm separation distance between the user's body and the handset. Accessories like belt clips or holsters should not contain metallic components. Using accessories that do not meet these requirements may lead to non-compliance and should be avoided.
Body-worn Operation
Testing for body-worn operations confirms compliance with RF exposure requirements when a minimum separation distance of 1.0 cm is maintained between the user's body and the handset, including the antenna. Third-party accessories such as belt clips and holsters should not contain metallic parts. Body-worn accessories that do not meet these requirements may not comply with RF exposure regulations and should be avoided. Always use the supplied or an approved antenna.
