How to Use

Before First Use

Connect the mains adapter or open the battery compartment on the weather station and insert 2 alkaline AA batteries with the correct polarity as shown by the markings. When the product receives current, all icons on the display light up for 3 seconds, accompanied by an audio prompt. The indoor temperature and humidity are registered. The weather station then starts searching for the outdoor sensor, which takes about 3 minutes. A flashing radio mast icon is shown on the outdoor part of the receiver display during this search. Open the battery compartment on the wireless outdoor sensor and the weather station, and insert 2 alkaline AA batteries with the correct polarity. Once the receiver establishes a connection to the outdoor sensor, it switches to receiving mode for radio-controlled clock setting.

Receiving Radio Signals

The clock automatically searches for a DCF signal 7 minutes after restart or battery replacement. The radio mast icon begins to flash. Automatic synchronization with the DCF signal occurs at 01:00, 02:00, and 03:00 to set the exact time. If synchronization fails (the radio mast icon disappears), a new attempt is made one hour later, repeating up to 5 times.

Manual Search

Start a manual search for a DCF signal by pressing the UP button for 2 seconds. If no signal is received within 7 minutes, the search stops, and a new attempt is made automatically at the next hour. Press the UP button once to cancel the search.

Important Notes on Signal Reception

  • A flashing radio mast icon indicates that a DCF signal search is in progress.
  • A solid radio mast icon indicates that the DCF signal search was successful.
  • Maintain a minimum distance of 2.5 meters from interference sources like TVs or computer screens.
  • Radio reception is poorer in basements or rooms with concrete walls. Place the station near a window if reception is poor.
  • Only the SNOOZE/LIGHT and UP buttons are active during a DCF signal search. Press the "-" button to stop the search and use other functions.
