Product Overview

Proxim's Edge Multipoint 1015 is a high-performance point-to-multipoint radio designed for reliable service and cost-sensitive projects. It features a 5 GHz radio with up to 100 Mbps throughput, license upgradable to 200 Mbps. Utilizing Proxim's Wireless Outdoor Router Protocol (WORP), it offers granular service level management through an advanced Quality of Service (QoS) engine. This product is ideal for Wireless Internet Service Providers (WISPs), Intelligent Traffic Management, Video Surveillance, and more.

Highly Secure

The Edge Multipoint 1015 provides enterprise-class security, including AES 128 encryption, Radius-based authentication, and secure management via SSL/TLS1.2, SSH, and SNMPv3. Its IP67 rated enclosure includes a surged-protected Ethernet port.

Easy to Deploy

The Edge Multipoint 1015 simplifies network deployment with a built-in 15 dBi 35-degree dual-polarity antenna and RP-SMA connectors for external antennas. It includes a full-axis mounting kit and is 802.3af/at Power over Ethernet compliant. Configuration is made easy via Proxim's BlueConnect smartphone application (Android and iOS) using a Bluetooth Low Energy interface.

Ready for Mobile Deployment

The Edge Multipoint 1015 features Proxim FastConnect roaming technology and an integrated GPS, making it suitable for mobile applications. It supports delay-sensitive multimedia applications at speeds up to 185 mph (295 km/h) and allows device tracking on the ProximVision® Advanced mapping feature via its built-in GPS module.

ProximVision® Advanced supports the Edge Multipoint 1015 devices, offering network-wide views and advanced device management. Features include rapid network deployment through automated configuration and advanced statistics and analytics for network optimization.
