Litter-Robot 3 Quick Start Guide
by Whisker
Important Initial Setup Information
Placement: Never push the Litter-Robot against a wall or into a corner. Ensure it does not touch any walls. For optimal placement, consider the same location as the old litter box, especially during the transition period. The unit should be indoors, on a firm, level surface, in a cool, dry location. Place litter mats or rugs in front of the unit.
Cat Weight Requirement: Cats must weigh at least 2.5 kg (5.5 lbs) to safely use the Litter-Robot in Automatic Mode.

Step-by-Step Setup
1. Ensure Proper Placement
Place the Litter-Robot in its intended location. Ensure it is on a firm, level surface in a cool, dry environment. Place litter mats or rugs in front of the unit.
2. Add Litter
Use clumping litter, litter beads, or crystals that are small enough to pass through the screen. Add litter until it meets the raised fill line when spread flat (approximately 3.6-4.5 kg or 8-10 lbs). Be careful not to overfill.
