Product Overview
The Hygiena UltraSnap™ Surface ATP Test (Part No: US2020) is a self-contained device designed for rapid hygiene monitoring of surfaces. It works in conjunction with Hygiena luminometers to measure adenosine triphosphate (ATP), a universal energy molecule found in all living cells. ATP is present in organic product residues and microbial contamination on surfaces.
Upon collection of a sample and reaction with the device's unique reagent, light is emitted, which is measured by the luminometer in Relative Light Units (RLU). Higher RLU values indicate greater ATP presence and thus higher levels of contamination. This system is ideal for monitoring the hygienic status of processing equipment and other environments across various industries.
Key Features & Usage
- Rapid detection of ATP for quick hygiene assessment.
- Designed to detect invisible or trace amounts of residue.
- Provides results in seconds (10-15 seconds depending on luminometer model).
- For water sample testing, AquaSnap™ Water ATP Test Devices are recommended.
