About the Headphones
The Sony MDR-7506 are stereo headphones designed for professional audio monitoring. They offer clear sound reproduction and durable construction.
Folding the Unit
The headphones are designed to fold for convenient storage and portability. To fold the unit:
- Gently press the earcups inwards towards the headband.
- The headphones will fold flat, making them more compact.
Precautions and Safety Information
General Precautions
- High volume levels may affect your hearing.
- Do not use the unit while walking, driving, or cycling, as this may cause traffic accidents.
- Avoid using the headphones in dangerous locations where it is essential to hear surrounding sounds.
- This product contains magnets that may interfere with medical devices such as pacemakers, programmable shunt valves for hydrocephalus treatment, or other medical devices. Keep the product away from individuals using such devices. Consult your doctor before using this product if you use any such medical device.
Other Notes
- Be careful not to catch your finger in the unit when folding.
- Do not apply weight or pressure to the unit for long periods, including when stored, as this may cause deformation.
- If you experience discomfort while using the unit, stop using it immediately.
- Earpads may be damaged or deteriorate with long-term use and storage.

Limited Warranty (U.S. and Canada - 1 Year)
Sony warrants this product against defects in material or workmanship for one year from the original date of purchase for the original owner and subsequent end users.
What Sony Will Do: At its option, Sony will repair the product using new or refurbished parts, or replace the product with a new or recertified/refurbished product of the same or similar model.
Exclusions: This warranty does not cover accessories, software, damage from misuse, unauthorized service, cosmetic damage, or issues arising from external factors like power surges or acts of nature. It also excludes products purchased from unauthorized sources or products where the serial number has been altered or removed.
Obtaining Warranty Service: To obtain service, deliver the product, with proof of purchase, to an authorized Sony service center. It is your responsibility to back up any data or removable media before service.
