FLEXIBLE FIRESTOP FOAM CFS-F FX
Hilti Firestop Foam CFS-F FX is a versatile foam sealant designed for firestopping applications in various construction scenarios.
Applications
- Electrical: Sealing of cable conduits, cables, cable bundles, cable trays, and cable trunking.
- Mechanical: Sealing of metal & plastic pipes, composite pipes, and split AC unit piping.
- Mixed Penetration Seals: Suitable for sealing combined penetrations.
- Repenetration: Can be used for repenetration with single cables.
- Approvals: Approved in combination with Hilti CFS-BL firestop blocks, particularly for large openings or specialized industrial applications (e.g., telecom, industrial).

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
The following steps illustrate the general application process for Hilti Firestop Foam CFS-F FX:
- Prepare the opening and the penetrating items.
- Apply the foam to the opening, ensuring complete coverage.
- Use the appropriate Hilti dispenser (e.g., HDM 330, HDE 500-A22).
- Ensure the foam expands to fill the entire void.
- Allow the foam to cure according to the specified time.
- Trim excess foam if necessary.
- The system is now ready for further treatment or inspection.
CONSUMPTION GUIDE

OTHER APPROVED APPLICATIONS
Hilti Firestop Foam CFS-F FX is also approved for the following applications:
- Framing for thicker seals than partition thickness.
- Local / continued and sustained / interrupted insulation affecting El classification.
- Metal and plastic pipe through wall / floors inside PVC cast-in sleeve.
- Mixed penetrations (pipes, cables, conduits).
- "Clima Split" bundles of pipes, cables and PVC-U pipes.
