Aspen Pumps Economy Hot Water Condensate Tank Pump

Brand: Aspen Pumps

Product Overview

The Aspen Pumps Economy Hot Water condensate tank pump is designed to collect hot water from humidifier drain-down cycles and normal condensate from air conditioning or boiler systems. It discharges water to a maximum head of 6 metres.

The pump features an internal pre-wired safety float, which acts as a low-current switch to halt the drain-down cycle if the pump fails. Operation is managed by two internal float switches.

Installation Notes

This pump is designed to be installed level on its base. Ensure the discharge piping is free from kinks or obstructions and has an internal diameter of 9mm. Secure the pipes to the pump's inlet and outlet using cable ties. The pre-wired safety switch must always be utilized.

Diagrammatic representations indicate correct and incorrect installation methods. Incorrect installations include kinks in the discharge pipe [X] and improper pump orientation [X]. Correct installation requires the pump to be level [✓].

Service Guide

To prevent sludge build-up in the pump housing, flush the pump with an anti-bacterial wash every 6 months. Ensure any chemicals used are compatible with the pump's operation. Before initial use, fill the pump with water until the motor runs, checking for leaks and proper water discharge.
