Battery and Charging
Battery Specifications
The controller features an internal 900 mAh rechargeable battery. It comes pre-charged but may require charging before initial pairing if the top LED flashes red.
Charging Indicator
The top LED near the USB port indicates battery status: flashing red means the battery is low. Plug in the USB-C cable to charge. The LED will be solid red while charging and turn off when fully charged.
Battery Maintenance
Note: To maintain battery health, charge the controller at least once every 45-60 days, regardless of usage. Battery capacity may decrease over time with repeated charging.
Wireless Pairing
Follow these steps to connect the controller wirelessly to your Nintendo Switch:
- From the HOME Menu, select 'Controllers', then 'Change Grip and Order'.
- On the displayed screen, press and hold the SYNC Button on the controller for at least one second.
Note: Once paired, the controller will automatically connect on subsequent uses.
LED Indicators Explained
The controller has three sets of LED indicators:
- Top LED: Located near the USB port. Indicates battery charge level (flashing red for low, solid red for charging, off when charged).
- Front LED: Positioned between the Capture and Home buttons. Flashes during the programming of Advanced Gaming Buttons.
- Bottom LEDs: Four LEDs that indicate the power status and player number (1-8). They cycle from left to right during wireless pairing.
Advanced Gaming Buttons
Assigning Buttons
Map controller functions to the two dedicated Advanced Gaming Buttons (AGL/AGR).
- Press the green Program Button located on the bottom of the controller. The LED connection indicator will flash, signaling assign mode.
- Press one of the following buttons to assign its function: A, B, X, Y, L, R, ZL, ZR, Left Stick Press, Right Stick Press, or D-pad.
- Then, press the desired Advanced Gaming Button (AGR or AGL) to assign the function. The LED indicator will stop flashing, confirming the assignment.
- Repeat the process for the other Advanced Gaming Button if desired.
Note: Button assignments are stored in memory even after the controller is disconnected.
