Frame Features

Install Photo Frame
- Screw in the stand: Attach the stand to the back of the frame.
- Connect the power cable: Plug the power adapter into the frame and then into a power outlet.
Getting Started
Thank you for purchasing your Uhale Photo frame. Please follow the "Quick start guide" for initial setup.
If you are a new user of the Uhale Photo App, follow the quick setup guide or the on-screen instructions when powering on the frame for the first time.
Once set up, connect with friends and family.
Uhale Photo App
Download and install the Uhale Photo App from the App Store or Google Play by searching "Uhale Photo". You can also scan the QR codes provided.

Uhale Photo Quick Setup
When starting your frame for the first time, you will need to set it up:
- Select a language.
- Connect to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (hidden Wi-Fi is supported, but 5GHz is not).
- Set the time zone, date, and time.
- Update to the latest version if prompted.
- Enter your name and the location of the frame (e.g., "Living room", "Bedroom", "Workspace").
Start Using Uhale Photo
Connect with friends and family by sharing a unique code from your frame.
To send photos to the frame yourself, download the Uhale Photo app for iOS or Android.
Connecting a New Friend
- Ensure your friend has downloaded and installed the Uhale Photo app.
- Tap the add friend icon [? icon] on your frame. A dialog will show a QR code and SN code (valid for 12 hours).
- Share this QR code or SN code via SMS, Email, IM, or phone call.
Once connected, your friend will appear on the frame's sharing list.
Share Photos
Photos and videos can be shared in three ways:
- Uhale Photo App: Download the app from Google Play or Appstore. Bind the photo frame and then share photos/videos through the app.
Photo Share: Select up to 10 pictures, choose a photo frame, edit pictures (adjust focus, name photos), and send.
Video Share: Select one video (up to 30 seconds), choose a photo frame, edit video (length, name), and send.
You can view the status of photo sending tasks and perform actions on the sending history.
- Delete: Deletes local history data (does not delete framed photos).
- Clear: Clears history data (does not delete tasks in the sent state).
- Resend: Resend a photo to other frames.
- Withdraw: Deletes local history data and frame photos.
Uhale Photo Web
Access the Uhale Photo Web at: https://uhalephoto.zeasn.tv
Download, install, and open the "Uhale Photo" APP on your mobile devices. Find the QR code under [Scan] to log in.
Note: Upon successful login, the web will synchronize information from the app (profile picture, nickname, connected device).

External Devices:
You can copy photos to a Micro SD card and insert it into the frame. Import photos via Frame Settings > Manage Photos > Import Photos. Video import is not yet supported via Micro SD card.
Settings
Personalize your frame through the settings menu:
1. My Frame
- Set/Change Name: The frame name is also displayed in the app.
- Frame Location: Set the location for easy identification by friends and family.
- Set Language: Choose the language for the frame.
- Set Time Zone: Select the appropriate time zone.
- Automatic Date and Time: Uses network-provided time.
- Set Date/Time: Manually adjust date and time if automatic is off.
- 24-Hour Clock: Enable or disable the 24-hour format.
- Power: Options include power off, restart, and sleep.
2. Manage Photos
- Memory Usage: View stored photos and remaining storage space.
- Show/Hide Photos: Tap a photo to hide it. Hidden photos can be re-displayed. View only hidden or displayed photos.
- Favorite Photos: Add photos to the favorite album.
- Delete Photos: Select photos to permanently delete them.
- Import Photos: Import photos from an external storage device (e.g., microSD card). Insert the device, select photos, and tap import.
- Export Photos: Export photos from the frame to an external storage device (e.g., microSD card). Select photos and tap export.
3. Manage Account
- Add a New Account: Tap the device share button and share the SN code and QR code.
- Remove an Account: Remove an account to prevent photo sharing. You can delete all photos associated with an account, delete only the account, or delete the account and its shared photos.
4. Display Settings
- Brightness Level: Adjust screen brightness.
- Ambient Clock: Display a clock when the frame is in sleep mode.
- Sleep Mode: Set a time period to turn off the screen (default: 23:00 to 07:00). Photos can still be received.
- Show Weather & Time: Enable or disable the display of weather and time on the home page.
- Set Weather: View weather information and search for cities.
- Temperature Unit: Enable or disable the display of the temperature unit.
5. Photo Settings
- Timer: Set the photo display time interval.
- Show Caption: Choose whether to display photo descriptions.
- Fill Frame: When checked, photos fill the entire screen. When unchecked, photos fit within the screen with blurred edges.
- Slideshow: Choose from over 4 slideshow effects.
- Photo Display Order: Set the order of photos (By date, According to user, Random).
- Video Autoplay: Automatically play videos when turned on, pause when turned off.
- Playback Audio: Mute videos when turned on, play with preset volume when turned off.
- Video Volume Setting: Adjust video volume.
- Playback Mode: Choose repeat all or single repeat mode.
6. Notifications
Adjust the notification volume.
7. Backup and Restore
- Backup Frame to Micro SD card: Back up photos, friends, and settings. Existing backups will be overwritten.
- Restore from Backup: Ensure your backup is up-to-date. Reset the frame first if it has already been set up. Select "Restore from backup" on the setup screen. Ensure the SD card is correctly mounted if the button is not visible.
FAQ
- Do I have to keep this photo frame plugged all the time? Yes, it requires continuous power as it has no built-in battery.
- Does this frame have to be Wifi connected to work or just in the setup process? Wi-Fi is needed for receiving new photos/videos and software updates. The frame can play existing content without Wi-Fi.
- Why this frame cannot connect to Wifi? Ensure you are connecting to a 2.4GHz network. Check Wi-Fi strength, move closer to the router, restart the frame, or try a smartphone hotspot.
- Can this frame be hanged on the wall? Yes, using the wall-mountable hole on the back.
- Can I place the frame in portrait or landscape position? Yes, it supports both landscape and portrait placement.
- How do I unbind a user? Go to Settings > Manage Accounts and click the user to delete.
- Can this frame automatically turn on/off at a specific time? Use the sleep mode settings to schedule screen turn-off times.
- Can I adjust the speed the photos changes? Yes, adjust the Timer in Photo settings from 1 second to 30 minutes.
- Will it start displaying photos automatically after insert a SD card? Yes, after inserting a Micro SD card, tap [View] on the pop-up window to start playing photos.
- Why I got my photos cropped on the frame? Turn off the "Fill frame" feature in Photo settings.
- Can I cycle pictures and videos together? Yes, you can play pictures and videos together.
- Why does it say "not in the range" or "Disable" after I enter the correct Wi-Fi password? Check Wi-Fi strength. Connect to a stronger Wi-Fi network or use a smartphone hotspot.
- Can I link multiple frames to one account and send same photos to all the frame at the same time? Yes, one account can be bound to unlimited frames, and one frame can be bound to unlimited accounts.
- Can you delete the photos in the internal storage? Yes, go to Settings > Manage Photos and select photos to delete. This frees up storage space.
- Do I need to register a new account on Uhale Photo App for binding to the frame? You can register with email or log in as a visitor. Binding occurs automatically after entering the code.
- Do I need to be connected to the same Wifi when I upload pictures to the frame by app? No, after pairing, you can upload from anywhere as long as the frame is connected to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
- Can you send multiple pictures or videos at one time? You can send up to 50 photos at once, or one video (cut to 30 seconds). Photos and videos cannot be sent simultaneously.
- Can it play ground music during the picture slideshow? No, background music during slideshow is not supported.
